This policy covers how you may use GetYouTubeTranscript, including the AI summary and AI chat features that answer questions about a video's transcript. It applies alongside our Terms & Conditions. By using the service, you agree to follow it.

1. How the AI features work

AI summaries and AI chat send the transcript text of the video you chose, together with your question, to our AI provider to generate a response. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Check important facts against the original video before relying on them, and do not treat AI output as professional advice.

2. Prohibited uses

You may not use the service, including the AI summary and AI chat features, to:

• Break any law or regulation, or help someone else do so;
• Create or share content that sexually exploits or endangers minors;
• Harass, threaten, or bully anyone, or promote violence or hatred against any person or group;
• Create or spread deceptive content, including disinformation or impersonation of real people or organizations;
• Plan or promote terrorism, self-harm, weapons, or other activity that could cause serious physical harm;
• Create malware, phishing content, spam, or scams, or attack any system or network;
• Infringe copyright, trademark, or other rights, including republishing transcripts or summaries in a way the video's owner has not permitted;
• Collect or process personal data without a lawful basis, or track or profile individuals;
• Present AI output as medical, legal, or financial advice from a qualified professional;
• Make automated decisions about a person's employment, credit, housing, insurance, or legal status;
• Bypass or try to bypass safety filters, rate limits, credit metering, or access controls, including through prompt injection;
• Resell or share access to the AI features, or use their output to train a competing AI model, without our written permission.

3. Enforcement

We may refuse a request, remove content, limit features, or suspend or close an account that breaks this policy, with or without notice. Serious violations may be reported to the relevant authorities.
