For each of the latest 12 videos, likes plus comments plus shares, divided by the account's followers, times 100. The result is the average across those videos.
What is the rate by views?
All likes, comments and shares on those videos divided by all their views, times 100. It shows how much the people who watched interacted, whatever the follower count.
Why are the numbers approximate?
TikTok publishes large per-video counts rounded (like 1.5M likes), so the rates are close estimates rather than exact.
What is a good engagement rate on TikTok?
It depends on account size and niche: smaller accounts usually have higher rates. Compare an account with others of a similar size in the same niche.
