0:11 How many chairs are you sitting on right now? Are you all in on the chair? You put on one pair of glasses. You've got one pair of of AirPods right now. You're looking at me through one screen. Like you're using one microphone. That's a one microphone. Like you trust it. Is that conviction? Seems kind of scary. Why don't you diversify? Why don't you use 10 microphones? >> Do you drive in 10 cars at the same time or one car at one time? >> Drive down. >> Do you drive down one street? Aren't you afraid that you're driving down one street? You know, do you think a different way? You get a one airplane. Are you convicted? You put your entire 1:13 family in one airplane. Aren't you afraid? When you use knives, do you have copper knives, wooden knives, steel knives, aluminum knives, rubber band knives, diamond knives? Because you're afraid to commit to the right knife. 1:37 So my point really is ultimately if you're a rational individual, it's a it's a tool. 2:13 the [ __ ] 3:38 Last time. Last time. Last time. Last time. We go down the street. Last time. Last time. Last time. 4:12 [ __ ] 4:28 It's 5:00 Let him 5:14 is good. How you doing? How you feeling? How you living, man? Welcome back to the stream. Welcome back to the stream. To the stream. Shifty, what's good? Mickley, what's good? M you on stand today. Rivlin, what's good? Storm, what's good? Kevin, what's good? Digim Money, what's good? Live TV, what's good? Rockefeller, what's good? Teao, what's good? Poco, what's good? Sparky, what's good? Boss, what's good? Cole Money, what's good? Penguin, what's good? Soul Kid, what is good? Fix Mike and Dum Dum. Yeah, [ __ ] you, Dum Dum. Matrix, what's good? Jay Dogs, what is good? All right, look, let's talk about it. Um, what a [ __ ] day, huh? What a [ __ ] day. Market is kind of insane right now. Um, stocks are getting destroyed. Metals are trading like memecoins. I think copper just speed ran 10 years of 6:16 Bitcoin price action in an hour. Um, but $40 trillion asset is moving like a new pair. There's nowhere to hide. Bitcoin's getting destroyed. Hyperlid looks pretty good. And somehow someway, everywhere in between, we're still hanging on and doing all right. So, we actually have a lot to talk about today despite not that much going on in crypto. And the thing that I'm going to say because we have like a unique day. This is a this is a weird day in crypto. You you sort of like look around and my idols don't even know what's going on really. Um Bitcoin is like 83 and some change. Things look relatively eerie right now. I'm not going to lie to you. Um but there's exciting stuff happening in the world. Okay? There's exciting stuff happening in the world at the same time and we're going to talk about all of it. So, the plan for today, I have a few [ __ ] topics to get through. Then we're gonna talk about crypto. Well, actually, we're gonna talk about Google Deep Mind just Google DeepMind just released a product video that I'm not kidding you. I was sitting here on 7:16 our standup call and I watched it live and I had tears coming down my eyes. It was so incredible. And the tech actually it's pretty sens it it it's good enough to make you not feel bad about 84 BTC. I'm just going to be completely honest with you. Um, we're gonna talk about crypto for like an hour updates across the board. We are going to have a complete 180 and Creek is going to come on in like less than an hour. Who's the biggest Roblox YouTuber in the world? This fellow right here. And we're going to talk about Roblox UGC markets that are popping outside of crypto Twitter. And I'm going to interview him for like 45 minutes. I think it'll be lit. Actually, I think it's gonna be really exciting. And then, God, it's on my list. I don't really want to do it, but I have Peter Schiff, Tucker Carl, uh Tucker Carlson interview on my list that uh we might watch a little bit of. We'll spend some 8:17 time talking about medals, and we're gonna have a fun segment today. So, look, if you're watching on Twitter and you want to chat, twitch.tv/thereadguy. If you're on YouTube as well and you want to chat, twitch.tv, that's the best best place to go. Look, I'm not gonna lie. I think I've had the worst week of my life. I'm just gonna be completely honest with you. I think I've had the worst week of my life. Okay, one is I was poisoned. I was allegedly poisoned a couple days ago by I'm not I don't want to keep like calling her out because if she's watching the stream, I feel bad. So, I was I was like potentially poisoned first and foremost. Second of all is Bitcoin and crypto just kind of got destroyed. Things don't look great at the moment right now. And then third of all, bro, is I've been dealing with this shoulder injury for like five years. Okay? I've been dealing with a shoulder injury for like five years. 9:17 And I have gone to doctor after doctor after doctor after chiropractor after chiropractor after doctor after doctor and I said, "Doc, listen to me. If you I once told a doctor I once told a chiropractor who was charging me like hella money. I once looked this doctor dead in the eyes and I said, "My guy, Bitcoin's 120K. If you can fix my shoulder, I I swear I will retire you. I'll give you equity in the company. I'll give you equity in my lifetime earnings. I will if you can fix my shoulder, I will retire you." I was like making promise. I was promising Aruba vacations. I'm I'm offering to take him to Hawaii. I I was getting weird. I'm like, "Bro, if you can dead ass save my shoulder, I will do whatever I will be indebted to you for the rest of my life." And so I went to doctor after doctor after chiropractor after 10:17 trainer, after physical therapist, after I do my muscle release, after I do deep tissue massage, I'm a peptide. I went to doctor after doctor and every doctor looks at me and they're like, "My brother, Michael, you're fine. Like, it's mental. you're a head case. Go figure it out. You're completely fine. I got an MRI and no one would tell. I offered to retire this nothing. And so I finally went a couple days ago and the guy put the ultra he put like the ultrasound cream on my shoulder and he did like the rub like what you do to decide if they're you know a boy or a girl. And he put it on my shoulder and he's like, "Dude, your [ __ ] is [ __ ] up." So he gave me the cortisol shot, flicked it twice. He went like this. He [ __ ] just like in the movies. He He pulls the thing back and he flicks it twice, gives me the shot. Biggest needle you've ever seen, sends me to get an MRI. I get an MRI and I call Oh, cortis cortisol. Cortisone is 11:19 what we don't want. I call the MRI place and they're like, "We can't give you the records. How do we know if if it's you? It's a safety." I said, "No, no. I swear this is me." They're like, "Okay, what email do you want it to?" And they give me the email. I give them the email. They sent me the results and I have a torn labroom, bro. So ass. I have a torn labroom. Um yeah, by the way, they just gave it to me. They're like, "Okay, fine. I believe you. What email do you want?" I'm like, "Really? No ID, nothing." And I have a torn labor on my shoulder. And I'm pretty buttthurt about it. I'm not going to lie because I just got into this crazy like I'm going to be completely honest with you all. I am I was probably two to three weeks away from doing a wife beater stream. Seriously, I was probably two to three physique weeks away from taking it off and doing a wife beater stream. I was I'm honestly in some of the best shape of my life right now. I'm [ __ ] strong. I'm moving weight. I'm throwing 12:21 around 85 pound dumbbells on a flat bench like they're [ __ ] I'm throwing around 85 pound dumbbells on a flat bench like they're [ __ ] paper weights, brother. I'm throwing around 85s like they're [ __ ] paper weights. I'm on an incline throwing around 55s like it's a [ __ ] 20 pound curl bar and I was damn close. So, I got to go to the doctor tomorrow. And look, I I'm relatively upset that I can't lift and I can't get my physique right, but I'm mostly upset that the Euro summer is probably on pause. I've been looking forward to my like I'm up bull market Euro summer for a long time and and when I did my In-N-Out list for 2026 and I'm like talking about cash and leather jackets and playing pool and like all these trends that I think are in for 2026 and in reality I just wanted to drink a [ __ ] aerrol spritz on a on a yacht off the south of France just to like say I did it, bro. Just to say I did it. Just to do it. Like I'm I'm trying to reach the part of my life where I'm doing [ __ ] just to do it, bro. And it was almost my time. It was almost my time. And now it's like, 13:22 man, you can't go to the south of France in a shoulder sling 25 pounds overweight. It's like, what are we talking about right now? What What are we actually talking about right now? There's no yacht. There's no yacht at 195 and Puffy, bro. It's just not happening. What are we talking about? There's no yacht at 207. And so I'm gonna go to the doctor tomorrow. Bro, I'm going to get a checkup. But I there's there's no yacht at 215 in a shoulder sling, bro. It's just not how the game works. I know this game. I know how this game works. And you don't do South of France at 2 215. You just don't, man. You don't do it at 215. Maybe if you were 3540, it's a different ballgame, but not 24. And I'm going to be honest, man. I've been 24 for a week and it's catching up to me, man. The a it is catching up to me. So, if you have any advice on the peptides, on the PCP, whatever you got, let me know because I know that I I was talking a lot of [ __ ] about the peptides. I was saying I was going to fade it. It's gotten to the point where I'm I'm I'm game for whatever. I just want to be 14:23 able to do a push-up again. So, you let me know if you have any like I've been I've been putting off I've been putting off the we've got a we have a peptide stream. You know, I've been doing presentations. I have a a peptide presentation that Tulum King has been grinding on and I guess we're just going to run the stream maybe next week. It's like you don't get to go to Euro summer at 2:15 and there was a lot. Someone said, "What about the fat billionaires at at St. Tropz and shit?" I don't want to be that. I don't want to be that. I don't want to be 245 on my boat. I don't want my boat to look better than me. You know what I mean? I'd rather go no boat, but like 185 and cut and trim. And so, yeah, I'm in a bad way, man. I'm in a bad way right now. And so, that that's the news number one. Um, that that that right there is probably number one news. Number two is I went 15:25 is crazy. I went to the uh Apple store yesterday to buy a new Mac. Can't be fat. We're in House of Aris. Dog, you're a ball knower. Hold on. Ball know, dog. You're a baller, wavy, you're a [ __ ] ball knower. I went to uh the Apple store yesterday to buy a new Mac. Like a a two things, three things. One, I went to the and I went to the Apple store to buy a Mac to pick up pick my order and the guy who was selling it to me was pressing me with questions like, "Yo, what do you do?" And I'm like, "All right, you know, I'm a streamer. What do you stream?" Well, I trade. What do you trade? Well, you know, it depends on the day. Right now, you know, copper and silver, but usually the serious stuff like meme coins and Pokemon cards and One Piece. And we're like going down the list and down the list and down the list and down the 16:26 list. And he's like, "What are you gonna use this computer for?" I'm like, "Well, you really want to know. I'm pretty fascinated with Claude Code right now." He's like, "What's Cloud Code?" I'm like, "You know what Claude is?" He's like, "No, what's that?" I'm like, "Chat GBT?" He's like, "Like like the AI?" I'm like, "Yeah, yeah." I'm like, "You know people coding these things like crazy." He's like, "Really? Like, what is that? What do you mean?" And I'm like, "Vibe coding. You ever heard of vibe coding? He's like, "No, what's that?" And you know, he's got the Genius Bar shirt on. No, he's actually a really cool guy. And he's like, "What's that vibe coding? What's that?" And I'm like, "Um, it's like coding in English." And he's like, "What do you And I'm like, okay, it's like instead of like programming a computer with Python or some like, you know, language, Python or, you know, Swift. It's like you talk, you tell it what to do in English and it just does it. It's like really? I'm like, yeah, it just 17:26 does it. He's like, how how do I learn? And I'm like, I stream. He's like, how often? Like Monday, Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. EST. He's like, what? What's your name? And I'm like thread guy. He's like, "Oh [ __ ] my girl." No, I'm kidding. He didn't say that part, but he's like, "Let me let me follow you." And so he pops up on the phone, follows me on Twitter, Twitch, YouTube, Instagram, every platform, and we got a new uh stream. Will, it's Will, if you're in here, say what's good. Uh he asked me if I was legit. He's like, "How do how do you how do I know if you're a scammer? And I said, "Uh, that's a good question." Uh, he was like, "Are you legit?" I'm like, "Yeah." And he's like, "How do I know? Like, how how would I know?" And I'm like, "Uh, it's actually like a fair question. You honestly wouldn't know." And he's like, "Should I trust you?" And 18:28 I was like, "H I mean, yeah, I think so." He's like, "Why? Why should I trust you?" like well I don't I I mean I'm like I I you know I trust me generally speaking I don't you know I don't I don't know why you should but it look if you don't know what [ __ ] vibe coding is and maybe you should start trusting me. All right you're asking a lot of [ __ ] questions. I said you remind me of Curious George. He said why? I said that's what I [ __ ] thought will. So say hi to our new um friend Mr. will and let us talk about some exciting stuff that's actually happening. I might do a little bit of crypto like near the end and then mostly after Creek Creedcraft gets off, we're going to do crypto because here's the thing. Look, there's a lot I can say about the market. There's a lot I'm going to say about the market, but there's a couple couple things to be excited about. Okay, first and foremost, before I show you this video, I connected Claude Code to Google Chrome for the first time in my life, and I'm not kidding. It was legitimately a 19:28 surreal out like I It's kind of like an out-of- body experience if you've never done it before. Um, if you've never seen Claude operate your [ __ ] computer, this is by the way, this is the reason I wanted a separate computer for this just in case anything [ __ ] happens. If you've never seen the Claude control, is it safe? See, that's the thing. I don't, you know, is anything really safe or is the peptides I'm about to take from my shoulder safe? Is it safe to walk around the streets in New York City? Is it safe to go out in the cold at 12 degrees? I don't know. But watching Claude control my browser and click buttons and pull things from the Twitch API and pull stats and go through YouTube. It's un It's genuinely unreal. It's genuinely unreal. Yeah. Is it safe? Is it like I don't know when you when you use knives, how many use rubber band knives? It's like no. It's Is that conviction? Do you trust it? It's like I I I don't know. Um, so it genuinely was a surreal experience and I'm gonna be 20:30 completely honest. I think last night using CL because I used it for real. I feel like for the first time with the with the skills and the additions and hooked up the clock to to Google Chrome and all the I feel like I properly used it for the first time and I am going to go as far as to say it was my it's one of the craziest interactions I've had with technology since I used the iPhone for the first time. I really mean that. I really mean that, bro. It it it genuinely feels like the greatest first usage of technology since I first used an iPhone for the first time. Now, on this topic, there is something to be excited about right now. And I think a topic we're going to continue to talk about as stream goes on is we're going to talk about the metaverse increasingly. I really think we're going to talk about the metaverse increasingly. Okay? And one of the reasons I want to talk about this right now is because we're about to have a Roblox guy on, the biggest in the world. One of the reasons I want to talk about this right now is because this just dropped by Google DeepMind and I genuinely tried the product and it's one of the coolest things I've ever tried in my [ __ ] 21:31 life and I'm about to show you how to use it. I'm about to show you how to use it real quick. What do you actually use it for? Okay, the first thing I've used it for is I basically built this um like this tool that downloads my Twitch VODs, transcribes them, and then it basically is one summarizing everything that I've done. Um, so like it has all the segments broken down. By the way, it said my best segment yesterday by far was the Valentine's Day NBA trade trade deadline, which by the way, the Valentine's Day deadline's in two days, gentlemen. You got until February 1st to make your arrangements or it's not happening. You have two days. Trade deadlines at two days for Valentine's Day. You have two days. Don't forget January 29th. You have two days. I'm I'm making moves in the background. I'm like a general manager right here. I'm trading offering first round picks, date proposal here, proposing this, this, this. I got second round picks and a pick swap. I'm making all types of proposals. So, don't forget trade deadines in two days Valentine's Day. It said that was my best segment, but it transcribes all the um streams that we 22:32 do and then it can track like concurrent viewers per topic. And then so I'm starting to use it to like break down what segments I do are good, what segments I do are bad, why they were good, why they were bad, and then take things that were good, take new topics and sort of like transcribe them into a good make good segments out of it. And then I used it also, it's pretty cool. I used it to watch like 50 CRCraft videos. Like it it watched like five hours of his content yesterday on like 10x speed and then it transcribed everything. It talked about like all 50 videos and then it broke down like interesting facts, things he talks about, what he likes, what he doesn't like, all types of topics. And it was pretty like, bro, it [ __ ] works. It was really good. And so it knew everything about this guy from what he talks about in his YouTube videos. And then I'm giving it my questions on like this is what I think I'm gonna ask him. Why why does this work? And it's like oh yeah yeah like um this is good, this is bad, this is good, this is bad. Don't ask this. He's like sensitive about this topic or definitely ask this. He gets excited every like the v videos where he talks about this topic 23:34 have higher average views than like it it it gets it it just works. It's really good. Um but I want to show you right now it's not cryptoreated but I think it's going to be cryptoreated. Okay. And I'm going to the Metaverse, bro. I I think this is going to be a topic we talk about. I I cried when I watched this product video. I'm not kidding. I cried. Um, let's go. Okay. I I didn't cry, but I like, you know, thought I thought about like a scenario where I could cry. And then I did mental math and waiting in my head on if crying would be justified. And then I talked to Claude Code and I came to the conclusion that theoretically if I did cry, it probably would be justifiable given the weight of the Okay. the shop today. By the way, on 2x 24:37 Actually, 24:54 look at this. Look at what we're watching. I'm about to show you it works. Watch this, bro. 26:16 Look at this. 26:40 This is less just from purely a video without seeing anything. Was that not one of the coolest videos you've ever seen? Ever. Seriously. Was that not one of the coolest videos you've ever seen in your entire life? Am I missing something? That was not one of the coolest videos you've ever seen in your entire life. Now watch this [ __ ] So I'm like, "All right, we got to subscribe." And so I subscribed to It was [ __ ] ass, bro. I subscribed. It's $125 a month. I subscribed and I wanted to see if it [ __ ] worked. And bro, this [ __ ] is nuts. Like, watch this. Okay. Okay. Okay. Um, what do you what do you want me to What do you want me to prompt it? Let's go like Indiana Jones. Um, wait. Let me be like Mini Pikachu. Uh, $125 a month. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. It is. Um, a 27:57 Okay. Watch watch watch, bro. Uh, hey, be careful with the Telegram, by the way. I can't like mute it. It pops up. Watch, watch, watch, watch this [ __ ] Watch this [ __ ] Watch this [ __ ] Watch this [ __ ] Mini Packer from Clash Royale is really funny. Watch this. Look at this [ __ ] bro. I hope it doesn't throttle my computer. It might throttle my computer. loaded for like 15 seconds. Took like How long did it take? 15 seconds. Look at this, bro. Okay. Like, I'm not Mini Pikachu, but like, bro. And yes, they look kind of [ __ ] Okay. Yes, it looks [ __ ] Like, okay, they look [ __ ] I I get it. I understand. I understand they look [ __ ] But 29:00 look at this, though. Look at this, bro. Like, look. This is insane. What? What? What is my character, though? I told him to be Pikachu. What is this? Okay, watch watch. Look, it says it's Pikachu. It says Pikachu. Okay, let's go. like Indiana Jones in the Poke Center with giant nurse joy, giant Charmander, and giant bulbs. Sore make them hyper realistic and moving around. 29:59 Bro, you actually can't look me in the Oh, you gooner. 30:14 Wait, it [ __ ] It [ __ ] [ __ ] [ __ ] up, dude. What is this [ __ ] slop? Look at this thing. It's not what I told it to do, bro. Wait, hold on. I want this one to work because I I did it once and it was crazy. I want I want it to work. I cry over this. How do I [ __ ] Wait, hold on. Let it Let it load. Let it load one more. Let it Let it load one more. YouTube knows, too. YouTube knows, too. Let it load one more. Here we go. Here we go. Look at this [ __ ] Look at this [ __ ] Look at this [ __ ] Look at this. Look at this. Look at this. Look at this. Look at this. Look at this. Look at this. Look at this. Actually, look at this, bro. Like, bro. 31:23 Look at this. You can't Okay, I know it's laggy. I know it like looks a little [ __ ] but you can't look me in the face and tell me that this isn't insane. I can make this in like 15 seconds, bro. Look at the Venusaur model, bro. Look at the Look at this. Look at this model. Like, yes, it's laggy. Yes, it like doesn't really work that well. Yes, I'm clicking jump and it's not jumping. This is the worst it will ever be, bro. This is the worst it will ever be. Wait, let's do one more. Let's do one more. Um, let's go like 32:21 one more just to see. Go to the fifth floor. Do LeBron. It won't do LeBron. I I I I tried to make it do LeBron and it wouldn't do it. And then I tried to um I tried to make it do LeBron. It wouldn't do the Oh, this is not what I said, bro. I tried to make it do LeBron and it wouldn't do it. And then I tried to make it do Thread Guy and it like couldn't figure out who I was. Here, let's try this. It doesn't like Yeah, it doesn't like the IP. Um, it doesn't like like uh Yeah, it doesn't like IP like it probably wouldn't do I don't think it would do Iron Man. I don't think it would do Iron Man. Do Leg Legos. I can try Legos next. I can't read those messages out loud 33:21 about the island. Bro, look at this. Imagine 33:36 this hooked up with claw code with the Apple vision. Bro, it's a weird angle. I mean, bro, you can't look me in the eyes and tell me this is not One of the coolest things you've ever seen. 34:07 Crazy. Uh, wait. Let's do one more. Let's do one more. Let's do one more. Like, let's do like uh let's go like uh paper rocket. Um, space and outer space surrounded by planets and stuff, stars and [ __ ] You can't tell me that's 40% cool, bro. 34:53 I want to see JP and Trump beat. Let's see. Let's see this real quick and then we're done. 35:08 Cool. What's the use case to launch crypto? Obviously, launch [ __ ] crypto tokens, bro. I hate to say I don't give a [ __ ] I mean, bro, 35:29 you're going to You're going to tell me this is not fire? Are you kidding me? What happens if I hit the moon? You're going to seriously look me in the eyes tell me this thing is not fire. I made this in 20 seconds, bro. Like come on. I just want to hit. You can't tell me this. Okay, I'm going to give you the thesis in a second. Do a T-Rex in New York. I hit the moon. Holy sw. 36:25 All right, look. Did I spend $125 on this? Yes. Okay. And did I almost shed a tear when I watched the product video for the first time? Yes, I did. Okay. Now, all I'm going to say and the same thing that I felt when I used Claude Code hooked up to Chrome for the first time is you have to understand it's the worst it's ever going to get. It's the worst it's ever going to get. So imagine the technology that this thing has to just like spawn worlds like this connected to Claude code's ability to write in English and create like comprehensive scripts to do literally anything combined with like MidJourney and 37:26 ChhatBT imaging models ability to like make models and make characters and make images and make land and make visuals combined with I'm just I'm just gonna say it. Combined with crypto's ability to launch tokens and you ha dude, you have to sit here and think to yourself if there was ever a [ __ ] god narrative that you wanted to just like hold on dear hope for in crypto. The metaverse is not a bad one to clutch on to. I'm just saying. I'm genuinely I'm just saying the metaverse is not a bad one to clutch on to. Like seriously, if we wanted to clutch onto something, it's not a bad one. It is not a bad one. After what I just experienced, I'm sorry, but that technology is incredible. That technology is incredible. Okay, it is the worst it's ever going to get. It's the worst it's ever gonna type of [ __ ] you hear at 80K. 38:30 It's the worst it's ever going to get. It's the worst it's ever going to get. is the worst it's ever going to get, bro. Um, let's see. I just want to see like the quote tweets from this um project genie. Seriously, it's mesmerizing. I mean, you come on. Come like come on, bro. And I don't even know how to prompt it. Look at this [ __ ] Look at this. 39:21 I mean, dude, there is fun. 39:42 Wait, wait, wait, wait. I have to make real quick. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. 40:30 Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. No, it it's not it's not doing what I wanted to do. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. Hold on. 41:14 Wait, wait, wait. 41:25 Let me just try this and we'll let me let me just see if this works and we'll uh we'll move on. Let me just see if this works and we'll move on. Let me just see if it works. We'll move on. Let me see if it works. We'll move on. Let me see if it works. 42:05 No, No, no, no, no, bro. No, no, no. All right. Well, anyways, it's the worst it's ever going to get. It's the worst it's ever going to get and it launched today and before we have a Roblox guy come on in 20 minutes. Like, yes, to be fair, it looked better in the commercial, but it doesn't mean the writing isn't on the wall here, man. It's [ __ ] getting good. It's about time we spent some more time on on on some AI stuff. It's about [ __ ] time 43:05 we spent some more time on it. Um, think about I just want to say real quick. We'll move on from AI. I'll never forget how bad AI was when I tried Chat GBT3 for the first time in 2023 on a live stream and I was having it like write poems about Bitcoin and like Eminem's voice. It was so bad, bro. It was so [ __ ] ass in 2023. It was terrible, bro. It was so bad. I was using Chad GBT in 2023. Chad GGBT3 was like one of the worst things I've ever seen. And it was so [ __ ] bad. And so you got to like take you got to take it for what it is. Get optimistic about it doing better and we'll see what happens from here. Okay. The reason I'm putting off talking about crypto, which we'll do for the next 20 minutes before we get our friend Cre on, is because it doesn't [ __ ] look too good right now. Let's just call it spade a spade. Um here's the market, my friends. One BTC 44:06 awful. This is the one minute chart. One, even the one minute looks bad. Um daily, technically speaking, this is still a lower high. Look, technically speaking, it's still a higher low. It's still a higher low. Technically, it's still a higher low. It is. Don't shoot the messenger. I'm just saying it technically is still a higher low on BTC. Okay? It it it it it doesn't feel like it's gonna going to hold for much longer. And at this point, look, like um everything I'm gonna say today and over the next couple days, I feel like is wrapped around this take. Crypto adoption will continue independent of price action. Businesses don't buy software based on the stock price of the vendor. Crypto is enterprise software. Stable coins are being adopted faster than you think, 45:07 quietly under the hood. This is not your 2018 hyped up pilot. It's real adoption with concrete margin uplift. Everything in crypto to me right now basically says vibe shift tech works. It's being adopted everywhere. We've come a [ __ ] long way. We have generational products and tokens that are out right now that exist with real modes that are going to eat the world. But price can go down. It can go lower than you think for longer than you think it can go higher than you think for longer than you think. And we're somewhere in that middle gray area right now where it's like hyperlquid is a generational product and crypto is winning but price is really bad. Okay. And so that everything I'm going to say today and over the coming days I think is going to be wrapped around this mental framework if you will. Um technically speaking it's still a higher low first and foremost. Okay. Um, second, ETH 46:09 looks the same. Not great. Somehow it actually doesn't look as bad on ETH. This probably looks the worst of all the majors. And this like level, this 120s level hasn't really been tested yet. And yeah, Salana doesn't look great. And I'm going to be honest, I have a lot of homies, IRA homies that like begged me to tell them what to buy in 2024 in crypto. And a lot of them bought Salana. Weird spot for me. They'll text me like that guy like, "What's up with that Salana?" And I'm like, I don't really have much to tell you right now. It's It's a weird It's a weird time to be in crypto, but it's a weird time in the world right now. As we're going to get to these charts in a minute, it's it's a weird time in the world, generally speaking. Um, soul not good. Zcash not good. Not awful. Uh, that's that's bonds. I was 47:11 about to say I was about to say this chart looks good. What is this [ __ ] 10-year yield? Um, Zcash not great. The only chart right now that I feel like is impressive, genuinely impressive in crypto is this. All things considered, I mean, we're down 7% today after being up a significant percentage over the last couple days. But dude, Maine, I texted Maine the other day. You want me to read you want me read you my conversation with Maine? Here's the deal is the TA guys right now. The TA traders are in shambles, bro. This is this is this is this is the real like when you say get so and so, get May, get Ponzi. The real take right now is the technical analysis traders are absolutely in shambles because there's 48:11 no real TA that could really do that. Like these are the posting from the TA guys right now. Looks like this. This is what it looks like. 48:29 Converting all BTC to hype before coins printing a higher low 48:43 before. I'm trying to find a bot PTC at 90 90K or something like this. Like every TA guy is basically this thinks this. And so the pure TA guys, I feel like are in shambles right now. Um because we're in a little bit of uncharted territory if I'm being completely honest. And this is the chart right here that looks the best to me. Hype looks insane. Hype looks insane. And if there was one bright spot in crypto to be optimistic about right now, I think it's this. I think it's this. So, I texted Maine. I'll read you my text with M. I texted Mane and I said, um, I texted him last night at 8:58 p.m. And I said, what did I say? I said, unprecedented 49:44 times, huh? He said, "What happened? I'm in place living the dream." And I said, "What happened?" I'm like watching gold. It's like 5600. He said, "What happened?" I said, "Um, I replied and I said, "Gold BTC." And I said, "Wow, you're my goat." Haha. He said, "Gold flying is end of times. really think BTC is due to catch up has to be soon here. And so basically every TA guy I think that has a crypto bias is thinking to themselves, we should be catching up here soon. And it's really just not happening. And it's a bro it's a weird spot. I don't know. Um stocks look like this. Look at look at this. It was pretty bad. 50:44 I watch I watch a stock guy I watch a stock guy every morning. This guy admit investing. I watch him every morning and they were in absolute shambles over this chart over Microsoft. People were losing their [ __ ] mind over Microsoft. Um this morning they were losing their mind about Microsoft. Here this this guy I watch every morning. Um I watch this for like market open just to like see what's happening in stock world. Uh, let me see. I don't know why was he shadow band. Yeah, this fell right here. Luke, on time. On time. I'll be on time. I watch him every morning and they're in absolute shambles over this. Microsoft doing, let's see, like how much in a day? I think it raised $400 billion in market cap. At the bottom it was down 13% in a day and they were panicking about this. 51:46 Uh what's the ticker for this CRM? No, this isn't even that bad. What? They're panicking over this was down 9% at the bottom. And so basically every software play right now is getting destroyed. Adobe look how much some of these charts are down in since January 2025. This thing is down 47%. Every software play is just getting destroyed. And I my understanding of it is they're getting destroyed off AI fear off claude code. What I want to do, we don't really have time to do it right now, but I want to basically go I want to look at these some of these software charts on the spot where Claude code launches like 70 days ago and see how 52:47 much they're down because the narrative they have a they have narrative problems. These software these SAS companies have narrative problems big time. big- time narrative problems, especially as vibe code and claude code, 90% of all code, all programming is is AI now. Narrative gets pushed. They have big time problems. Like look at this. Wow. Look at this chart we drew. This line we drew. Ignore that. Huh? Look at this one. How bad this is. Somehow dipped another like 10% today. And so the reality situation is even in the equities markets, see Google launched today. Google looks [ __ ] sick. There's really not that many places to hide out at all. It's like S&P is at every stock guy that I watch wakes up in the morning and they are like [ __ ] in shambles. They're in shambles. Everyone 53:47 I watch is in shambles. Um, you're basically running out of places to hide out is is what it feels like. Um, all that's left is this. Gold looks insane. Um, silver looks disgusting. And then I traded this yesterday after I came home with my computer. I actually made a little money on copper yesterday because it was like a 10-year breakout. But look, look at this PA. Look at this PA. Look at this PA. Look at this PA. It goes plus 11% in one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13. In 13 hours it goes plus 11%. And then in two hours it goes minus 9%. Like snap like snap snap wick and then right away in the next following three hours it goes plus 5%. 54:48 It's moving like an altcoin, bro. This was crazy. This was crazy. Um, so I tweeted this last night. Look, I tweeted this last night. It's kind of a funny tweet. 55:03 No, not this. I tweeted this right here. I tweeted this last night at 7:34 p.m. The entire world is slamming the same copper chart and praying. 7:34. Let's see. 55:23 Yeah, I tweeted it right here. It's 30 minute. I tweeted it right here and this thing [ __ ] whipsaws. Whipsaws. And you look at these charts. Uranium got destroyed, too. Look at this. Look at this chart. Look at the way this thing is moving, bro. You look at these charts and then you look at these like this and then you look at this and the overwhelming feeling, bro, is just like there's not that many places to hide out and risk. And for the first time in a long time, I feel like the smartest people on crypto Twitter, I look around and I'm reading their tweets cuz like here's what what 56:23 we're going to do when we get off stream or when we get up with done with Creekcraft is I want to just like watch I want to watch I want to watch Peter ship Tucker Carlson as much as it pains me to do. I want to read some of these like more macro guy takes and no two people have the same opinion on anything. None. No, the gold people have completely different takes than the equities people than the macro. Like no two people have the same take on what's happening right now. The only thing they can say is like holy [ __ ] People are just looking around wideeyed like what is going on? And so the thing that concerns me the most with crypto right now is that I feel like we're not even really part of the conversation. Like the obvious highle like left brain is that there is just like complete flight from US assets like flight from US markets basically flight from US risk, 57:26 flight from US treasuries, flight for US bonds, flight from US exposure and nobody wants to buy any [ __ ] thing else but gold. $40 trillion asset moving like every money in the entire world is buying it. And the problem at least as I understand it is that Bitcoin is too small. Like you can't buy a store of value asset that you're going to 10x. And so if you think about it, think about it like this. The narrative problem we found ourselves in is if the entire world is and these other countries, China, all these other countries are in a flight away from US exposure and America and Donald J. Trump have basically positioned themselves as Bitcoin is an American asset and we are the crypto capital of the world. 58:29 We got a little bit of a narrative problem, bro. I'm not going to lie. Under discuss, I think. Like, if if this is really what's happening is nobody wants US treasuries. No one wants us US US exposure. And China and all these other countries are just slamming gold and slamming metals as a way to get out of US exposure. And then you would think Bitcoin is positioned to catch some level of these flows, but Trump has basically publicly decided that Bitcoin is an American asset and it's already risky, unproven, and small. Why? I don't know. Why touch it? And it kind of feels like that's what's happening right now is we're just like being skipped over a little bit on the BTC side. we skipped over and it leaves us like out of the conversation a little bit. It puts us in a weird spot. It puts us in a weird spot. It puts us in a weird spot at the same time that 59:31 equities low-key look terrible. Low key look terrible. Like there's not that many places to hide, bro. There really are not that many places to hide. And we're kind of in no man's land a little bit if I'm being completely honest. Now, there's like one legit bright spot at the moment, I think, which is Hyperlid. There's like one legit bright spot, which is Hyperlid. And some of the smarter guys, this is the best time to be in crypto since 2020. Certain sectors are about to experience exponential growth. Don't let the doomers stuck in vaporous altcoins tell you otherwise. I don't think I'd be short all uh hype right now. I think you should short literally anything but Hyperlid. But that's kind of how like the the thinking here. It's kind of the thinking. And so Pump as well looks decent. I wouldn't 1:00:32 touch Pump either. I wouldn't be [ __ ] shorting pump. Um Max 7 have ATT at But everything else is awful. 1:00:49 But then you see [ __ ] like this and the the bear the the God I don't even want to read it. I I I don't even want to read it. I I I'll just I'll just bookmark it. How about that? I'll just bookmark it. Um now look, the optimistic side of the coin is that it isn't just a weird time in crypto. It's a weird time in the world. Okay. I think most people that trade risk assets and that trade markets all day are feeling to themselves a little bit like people are looking at the gold. They're watching a $40 trillion asset move like a shitcoin. They're looking at it and they're like, okay, they're watching most of the equities that they have, especially the software names that have like historic the assassin names that have historically been incredible do terrible and they're like, uh, they're looking at crypto. Uh, they're looking at basically everything and they're like, uh, okay, so the the bright of the coin is twofold. One, it isn't just crypto, which I know was like not the best thing. It's like, okay, I didn't get arrested solo. My boy also got arrested. But you would rather your boy gets arrested with you than you get arrested solo any day of the week. If 1:01:45 I'm going to the principal's office, at least let my homie come with me. That's number one. So, at least you're in the same boat as a lot of other really smart people. And the second side, which is harder because we're not directly making money from it. But I can't help but touch Claude code and hook up the Google Chrome skill and look at this Google deep mind little metaverse builder and world builder and then look at Roblox and see how much money these people are making and not think that we're we're just like borderline on the coolest one of the coolest times in the world to be alive. So markets are weird. Um, I in one minute am going to interview Creek, who is the biggest Roblox YouTuber in the world. I think it's going to be a good little switch up conversation to discuss some other things that aren't just like, "Yeah, crypto looks like shit." And this guy is a [ __ ] sharp kid and I'm excited about it. So, I'm going to interview him. We got 45 minutes with him. Right when he gets off, this is what I have planned. Right when he gets off, we're going right here. Gold medals. 1:02:46 We're coming right here. Um, >> we're coming right here. So, I'm just gonna [ __ ] give it to y'all raw today. Straight up. I'm gonna give it to y'all raw and we're going to do what we can do. But all right, I'll be back in in 30 seconds. He's coming on. It's going to be a [ __ ] banger. BRB. 1:03:13 >> It's Hey, hey, hey. 1:04:19 Hey, 1:04:34 hey, hey. 1:04:41 All right, let's do it. I'm [ __ ] excited. Um, again, look, I should I need to get to water. Ah, I got to get a water. Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on. Luke, I'm sorry. Tell I got to get water. I got to get a water. Hold on, hold on, hold on. 1:05:48 I'd appreciate silence in the break. Silence go hard sometime. All right, let's get it. Let's [ __ ] go. Crep, the biggest Roblox YouTuber in the world is coming on stream right now. Look, sometimes things are a little grim. The markets don't look great. But this stream, we will always be in a bull market because whatever the most interesting things in the world are at any given time on especially on the internet, we're going to be discussing them. We're going to be covering them and we're going to be on the [ __ ] front lines. That's just what we do, man. We're early to everything. That's what we do. Um, good days, bad days, whatever. We're We're on it. So, let's get it right now. Creek on the stream. I'm a little like I don't know. I'm a little like Let's [ __ ] go. All right, let's get it. And boom, we're live. Mr. Creek, what's up, dude? >> Hello. Hello. How are you? >> I'm awesome, man. Welcome to the stream. How are you? >> Good. Good. Very good. Happy uh happy birthday, man. How was it? >> Good. You know, as a Roblox streamer, every every year I get older and it's 1:06:48 like I'm re reminded of my my impending doom every year, you know? >> Dude, I just I just turned 24 and I have like a sneak midlife crisis. Does it get better? >> Well, like it's I don't feel any older, but like you know, kids will start making jokes and it's like I have no idea what that means anymore. Um, and for the longest time it's like, yeah, I'm hip with the kids. I might be 20, but I'm hip with the kids still, but now they're say something. And I'm like, I don't know what that means. I have no clue. >> They age you out a little bit, man. Um, >> I know. >> But look, you're on a run, so I I I think you're doing all right. But, dude, I appreciate you coming on, man. Can you give us real quick for the more like trading crowd that isn't familiar with you? I just started talking about Roblox. Yeah. I don't know, a week ago, just to do this one segment and it kind of popped off. Can you give us a quick intro into who you are and what you do and then we could cover some of the fun stuff? >> Yeah, I mean um let's see. Started streaming when I was 14. So, oh man, 1:07:48 that's been a while. Like, h a little little bit over 10 years now. Uh started with Minecraft. I mean, hence the name. Um and then around like 2016, Minecraft kind of dipped on YouTube. This was like pre-dream and all those. And everyone was like, "Oh man, you got to play Roblox. Got to play Roblox." And I I was like, "No, never. It's a dumb kid game. I'm not going to play it." And then it just kept blowing up and blowing up and I was like, "Fine, I'll play it." And I don't know I don't know how familiar you are with it, but like I played this one game called Phantom Forces, which is essentially like Battlefield or Call of Duty in Roblox. So good. I started playing Roblox. Here we are like actually 10 years later. Uh I've been playing Roblox for 10 years. So yeah, it's been a been a journey. I uh I used to play like >> 2019 2020 co era like flee the facility era. >> Oh yeah yeah yeah. >> Um but I I hadn't in a while. Um let me let me ask you on the YouTube side like you only post Roblox. 1:08:51 >> Um like most mostly like I I'd say like that and Roblox adjacent stuff. So like the new Poppy Playtime games coming out. I'm looking forward to streaming that. like FNAF, uh, Roblox adjacent audience-wise, I guess. Yeah. >> What's the So, what's the thinking behind that? So, for what I stream and cover is like we do a lot of crypto and niche markets, which obviously have, you know, less of a total audience than like the stock market, per se, right? But we're really f we're sort of like hyperfocused on a couple specific niches. And you could maybe say a similar thing with Roblox. like it's obviously huge, but there's other games people play, there's other metas, there's other things that are popular. Like, why are you so super focused on just this ecosystem? >> I mean, it's it's funny cuz like Roblox has so many different demographics across it. So, like depending on what game you play, you could have young kids to older kids to mostly boys to mostly girls that watch. Um, for the longest 1:09:54 time I and like a lot of people do this, they'll just focus on like one specific Roblox game. The problem with that, just like with any, you know, anything on YouTube is like, what if that thing starts losing popularity? Well, then you're going down with the ship. So, um, after 2020, I kind of like shifted into more general Roblox stuff. So, like I didn't even mean for this to happen. I I've kind of just done like the moist critical of Roblox, you know, like that's the strat now. I just Roblox. >> That's the best way to describe it. I talk about Roblox news and and commentary and give my opinion on it and it's it's just me talking right here to the camera, you know? Um, and so it's more of like a general, you know, I guess like kind of variety Roblox stuff. Eventually, I would like to kind of teeter out of it a little bit and expand a little bit more, but it's it's really hard to do that because obviously people subscribe for one thing and they want that one thing. >> It's crazy it goes as niche as one 1:10:55 specific Roblox game and that's >> yeah, you post. >> I um I feel like Roblox really came back on my radar around Grow a Garden >> which >> Yeah. Yeah. was in I mean that was insane. Like it was all over my feed and I feel like it ha it hadn't been for a considerable amount of time and so grow goes crazy >> and I'm like all right maybe I should know pay attention and then there's this steal a brain rot meta happening at the same time and then we also have two hollas concert there was the Bruno Mars thing that just happened. >> Yeah. Where where does Grow a Garden and like the recent hype explosion compare to like prior success bands? >> So like from 2015 prior because obviously Roblox came out in like 2004 2006 era. It was very very niche. It was kind of like ah that's like some dumb you know broke boy 1:11:56 Minecraft game. Um, and then like 2018ish it started picking up steam and then the pandemic happened and that just catapulted it forward. >> Um, every kid was at home playing Roblox. And it it's interesting cuz like grow a garden and still a brand they're the like in terms of video game history period the most concurrent users in any video game ever. Um, and so it really blew Roblox up even more. Like there were there's more people playing Roblox now than there was during the pandemic and like everyone was at home during the pandemic which is crazy cuz like normally after the pande um so YouTube let me explain that. I'm so used to saying that YouTube used to demonetize the word pandemic so we would say pandy. Um yeah yeah yeah. Um so normally like after the pandemic things you know went down. people got back to normal life. But Roblox, it just kept going up and up and up. And then Grow a Garden happened and like it's like a 1:12:57 whole new audience. It's like Jin Alpha just flooded Roblox after Grow a Garden came up and Still Brain Rock came up. It's It's been crazy. >> So, I didn't realize and I like I posted, by the way, I was I was kind of geeked you uh post showed my clip on the YouTube video. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> I didn't realize how much money these people were making, but I just saw the girl garden thing and I'm like, "Okay." Yeah, know this is this is sick. It's super I didn't realize these people were like churning out eight figures plus on these successful games. And then you posted a clip where you said you made at least a million dollars plus I think >> from steal a brain rot. And I'm like all right like what you know what what's going on here? like can you and I know I talked about it a little bit but can you sort of set the stage and break down a little bit like the financial and the market side for Roblox games? So, like Roblox is in this really weird position right now where like over time games 1:13:57 have kind of shifted more towards that like premium mobileque kind of like economy in games and like I personally from a gamer perspective I hate loot boxes. I hate stuff like that. And then like but obviously from a monetary standpoint it makes a whole lot of money for these Roblox devs which is why they keep doing it. Um, and so like over time you've started to see like as Roblox gotten more popular like Grow a Garden obviously big mobile game monetization. Same with Still a Brain Rot. Um, and so like it it's if if done well, you can, you know, you can make a decent, you know, like income on Roblox. I I feel like it's a lot like YouTube though. Like I don't want to be one of those people like, "Oh yeah, just make a Roblox game. You'll become rich." It's like YouTube, you know, like everyone who makes YouTube videos ain't going to get rich. Some do. Same with Roblox games. >> Take you I actually have the clip here now. It wasn't 1 million. It was I lied. 1:14:59 I've actually made over $2 million from Steeler Brainwalk. Is that true? >> So, to be fair, that was People ask me on stream like, "How much money do you make?" And every time I'll just pull a random number out of thin air. that time. I I that was a joke. Um obviously most Roblox YouTubers that are most YouTubers period that are big are millionaires just straight up. But like it's not necessarily because of like still a brainer. It's just if you're a big YouTuber, you're probably making money. Um >> but yeah, that was just some dumb thing I said on a stream that for some reason Big Zordo clipped and I just kind of rolled with it because why not? >> Okay, makes sense. It was It was a good clip. It It was a It was a really good clip. The timing was good. And you know, one of the things I didn't realize about this world after I did my stream and made some clips is I was getting hit up by these developer studios that were like, "Hey, we're so and so. We've built these games 1:15:59 that have charted in the top 100. You know, we're looking for, you know, we have a team of nine people. We're looking for investment to build this concept." Like, who's actually making these games? Like what what is the scene with these developer studios? A big like trend in Roblox right now is a lot of these big companies and studios, they don't necessarily make games. They they kind of scout out games that people are making and like whenever it's kind of new to the scene. Maybe it's got like a few thousand players, but obviously has problems, can be improved. They'll be like, "This game has major potential. We're going to pay you x amount of money for it. Maybe we own 50%. Maybe we own it outright." And then they they use their big teams to kind of like blow up that game. So like Groward for example, Dubig and Chandel didn't make Grow a Garden. It was made by um kid named Adrian and they were like, "Oh, this game has a lot of potential." And they, you know, kind of like bought bought into it and helped them expand it. >> And is this is there like a in Roblox 1:16:59 system for you to come in with capital and be like, "Hey, I would like to own >> 20% fund you like 20k." Or is this all like under the table? It's very it's Yeah, it's very under the table bag channels. There there's some questionable stuff at times. Um >> what do you mean? >> It like Okay, so one big problem in the Roblox scene is like a lot of people who make games are kids >> and kids don't know anything about contracts or legality or anything. So like a big situation that happened recently uh last year is one of the biggest games in Roblox, Forsaken. okay, >> making millions of dollars a year and they had no legal paperwork, no copyrights, no trademarks, and nothing. And so there was a big dispute over who owned the game. And and how does that work? Well, the owner of the game is a 16-year-old. So, how does that work? He can't sign a contract. So, it's like there's a lot of um like I I I like that's probably a lawyer question. I don't even know how you 1:18:00 would navigate some of that. But it's it's it's it's weird cuz like you could have a kid making a game that's making millions of dollars and there's no legal paperwork. It's basically just a bunch of random people online being like, "Cool, let's make a game." >> And so, I mean, Roblox is obviously aware of this. You know, we can maybe like skip over some of the legal rabbit hole stuff, but they're obviously aware of this and they are obviously do better as a company if these games are successful. Is this do they talk about this? >> Um, you know, like a as I've kind of gotten in the know with things, I I'd say a lot of people don't like the the normal Roblox audience probably doesn't know the back end of like, you know, the Roblox ecosystems and and games going back and forth, ownership and con like it it's not talked about that much to be honest. It feels like the dark arts back there. That's That's actually a weird spot. How 1:19:00 does it work? Like is there one developer account that just gets all of basically the Roblox? >> Like a lot of like big companies, they have like I guess you'll call them like scouts or whatnot. Like um there's the there's this one Discord server that like in order to get into it, you have to have like so many concurrents on a Roblox game and like a whole bunch of other metrics. And then like it's it's kind of like a I don't want to say like a trading server, but you know like a lot of people that buy and sell games do it there. But there's like other means too. Um like some people will just see a game popping off and they'll be like, "Hey, what's the stats on that game? We're looking to buy it, get ownership in it, etc., etc." >> A trade a game trading survey. That's crazy. >> Yeah. Yeah. >> That's fascinating. Actually, I did not know that that existed. So, you um you made a couple games. >> Yeah. Yeah, I did. >> Give me some lore. Give me some lore. 1:20:01 What? 20 2021, I think, was you made the first one. And then 23. >> I partnered with uh with a game studio and uh like we kind of made a game together. >> Um it it didn't really work out that well. It it didn't really last that long. Um, and then in 2023 I was with uh with another company that we it I wouldn't really call it my game. I was just kind of like an adviser on it kind of thing like >> figure like creative promoting it. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Kind of like that. Um and like it did it did all right, but like one one big issue with like a lot of these big companies is because they spend so much money like a game can't just be all right. It's got to be >> good. >> Yeah, it has to be making money like, you know, a good amount otherwise it's not really worth it. Um, and I guess that's probably true for 1:21:01 gaming in general these days with every company. But, um, yeah. So, I I made those, too. And if I ever do another one in the future, it's like I it's it's going to be like me funding it with my team, my you know, like >> Interesting. So you you were you know there's a couple of games you were involved with that were like >> not exactly what you had envisioned were going to be the outcome. >> You know it's not the decisions I would have made. Yeah. >> Interesting. Um were they good games? like what like what what's the diff cuz okay if you are looking on the service level and you're not someone that's super in the weeds and you see like steal a brain rot tsunami edition and you're like all right like >> I could make this but then you log on you know I've logged like 10 hours on it right like legit 10 hours on the game it's a good it's a good game um but if you look at you know maybe like quality or like depth to it the difference between 100,000 concurrent and like a thousand can feel like minuscule like how do you get in the weeds there. 1:22:03 >> The biggest game on Roblox right now, and let me actually make sure this is true before I say, okay, the second biggest game at the moment, >> um, not Fish It, but Escape Tsunami for Brain Rod. >> It's so good. >> It It's You say that it's probably, and like no disrespect to the developers. I know the developers. It's probably the worst made game that's made it this big on Roblox. Like from a quality standpoint, it's like I know some developers that could probably make that game in a day. Um, >> and how much do you think it's making right now? >> Oh, it's probably it's it's well in the millions, that's for sure. Um, it's it's actually another thing that's kind of been popping up on Roblox, and obviously we see this on YouTube, too. Whenever one big video goes viral, people will copy it and make like their own versions of it. >> 100 stealer brain rods. >> It's same thing. People are selling templates for like escape tsunami 1:23:04 templates. So instead of escape tsunami for brain rots, you just swap out the brain rods with memes or or scooters or cars or vehicles >> or some [ __ ] >> Pokemon, whatever. And like it blows my mind that like kids are playing because like growing up I grew up in the 360 era, you know, I play Halo, Call of Duty back when it was good. And like if I was 12 years old today, I I couldn't see myself playing this game. Um, but what do I know, you know? >> Okay, so you at some level have to play these games. Like you don't like have to play Sila Brain Tsunami >> version, but you could at least for an hour to make the video out of it. Do you have to play these games? Do you >> So like >> Yeah, talk about that. I >> I'll say there's like different like eras of Roblox. So when I started playing Roblox, the big game was like Phantom Forces, which was like Call of Duty, and then it was Jailbreak, which is kind of like GTA. Um Doors was a 1:24:04 horror game. Piggy was like a storybased horror game. And like I I liked those because they either had some depth to them gameplay-wise or in the case of Piggy, the depth came in the form of like the actual story and lore. Um, and so those like content and stuff you could sink your teeth into. A lot of the newer games trend on more towards like mobile games. So like they don't have a lot of depth to them. They're basically just mobile games that your grandma would download off the app store. Um, and so like some days it's like, yeah, you know, I I do struggle with this. I h like obviously I have to make videos on what the Roblox audience wants to watch. And right now it's still a brain rot. Um, is it my favorite Roblox game? No. Is, you know, I I make it fun, but like if it died tomorrow, I wouldn't be crying about it, you know. It also I I don't you obviously have way more context than I do, but it doesn't 1:25:04 it feels like every popular charting game is this sort of like it's like this endless no real goal like no like binary ending. It's these like endless simulator farm >> prototypes monetiz Yeah. Yeah. more monetization or like >> after watching you and a couple other Roblox YouTubers, I was watching all these videos like using AI to like make a game in an hour. I'll ask you about that later. >> Yeah. But after getting all these videos, I now my whole YouTube FIP is Roblox. And a surprisingly large percentage of the videos are basically talking about how the 2016 2018 Roblox era was [ __ ] goated and where we are right now is slopp. But Roblox is way bigger right now than it was in that era. Like what happened? I I'd say the general sentiment is so okay pre2020 1:26:05 Roblox as a company felt different. They felt very connected to the community. A lot of the, you know, updates, transparency, it felt very much like pre-activision Blizzard. >> Okay. >> And then 2020 came out. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Pre 2020 happened. They became a publicly traded company and it it felt like the fall of Blizzard all over again. It was like now these kids get to experience what I went through because it's like they stop being transparent. They stop communicating and it's like every update they do everyone's just questioning why like why would you do that? That makes so like like right now there's a big drama going on because they decided that um they want to have all animated faces on Roblox. >> I saw your video. Yeah, >> you you can't you can't have any static faces and it's like why why not just have both? Like I don't understand. Um and I I I'd say like the general PR 1:27:07 sentiment around Roblox as a company is negative. And then of course you have the schle situation too which like yeah Roblox is as a company I I I kind of feel like to a degree there's two things to answer your question. Number one Roblox survives off of user generated content. So like the people make the games. So it it kind of gets a pass there. Like Roblox kind of gets to avoid that there. But um also I think it's just so big that's like yeah you can take away a kid's chat. You can you can mess with their avatar but like they're probably still going to play Roblox >> because that's what everyone plays. >> This brings me to a question that's like on the UGC stuff which is fascinating. I know you don't like the word metaverse, so I I'll I'll spare you the word, >> but the concept of UGC is so it's it's incredible, right? Yeah. And that's why I like a lot of these like alternative 1:28:08 markets and Roblox, obviously Fortnite, >> obviously >> Roblox >> takes like 75% fee on a lot >> creators that are making these incredible games. And the problem to the point you just made is like it's like, okay, cool. You don't want to deal with our fee, like go somewhere else. But there's nowhere else to go, right? It's like if YouTube bans you or YouTube doesn't want you to make content about X topic, you're probably just gonna stop because you could go to Rumble or some other platform, but the people that you care about are on YouTube and so you're probably just going to stop talking about the thing and you're going to stay on YouTube. It's like, what do you think? Like, how does that evolve? Like, can Roblox continue to get away by taking 75% plus fee on these games? And like what does the future of the UGC growth look like? >> I think there's a asterric on that that is a very high amount. The the asterric on that is Roblox doesn't make developers pay for any server hosting or 1:29:11 any cost like that. So like you just make the game and there's Yeah, there's no cost. >> I don't know how the math on that works out. I don't know if it's if that's great. I don't know if that's good. But like obviously if you go on Steam you I I'm pretty sure you do have to pay for stuff like that. Um so like that's the asterk there. I recently Roblox announced that they did or they are increasing the devx rates which is the the rate of Roblox to real life money transfer. Um which is good because I I for the longest time I think you know obviously should be developers making these games should be making more money. Um, I I'd like to get to a point where developer, like if developers are doing good, I'm doing good. So, I want them to do good. So, like I'd love Roblox to get to a point where developers can make even more money off of Roblox. And um, you know, through through different means, whether it's like like selling merch or like like that's something they did recently is like you can sell like 1:30:11 actual physical merchandise in your games now. like you can buy it >> from within Roblox like hell developers. I skipped over your uh take about the Roblox team which by the way you're I mean you're passionate and sometimes you call I mean you call them out like you do you you get heated >> about the Roblox it's good it's refreshing to hear because you you especially for >> maybe my side of the internet doesn't have that much context for like what's going on it's a pretty >> colored definitely not being paid off level to take. >> Yeah. And my question for you, I'm always curious with these type of of game experiences, like do you think like how actively is the senior management at Roblox that's making these decisions playing the game? Is there a disconnect there? >> I I say this all the time. I I am not convinced that these people like play like the average Roblox employee. I know a bunch of people at Roblox. They're great. I love them. Um, the average 1:31:11 Roblox employee I would say probably gets it. I would say like the upper management of Roblox I I don't think they play Roblox. I I would be shocked to hear that they actively play the game. >> And then so they just make decisions where you're like, "Yeah, this guy obviously doesn't [ __ ] play the game." And you're stuck in this weird spot. It It feels very out of touch. So like I I I'll give you a good example. over the past few years, and Roblox backed off on this a little bit. They were really pushing these uh they call them arthro avatars, basically like humanoid realistic um avatars as opposed to the blocky ones. They wanted to phase out the blocky stuff, put in realistic stuff. And they looked like, dude, some of these avatars looked like a a demon that wants to suck the soul out of your body, but like Roblox is like, "This is the future. You're going to love it." Nobody loved it. And so like what happened is like they made all these changes, all these games. Nobody played these realistic games. Nobody used these realistic avatars and and they've 1:32:12 they've started to shift back and it's like like if you actually play the game, you never see anyone running around with a with one of these avatars. So it's like I I I don't know. It feels like I I I use this term a lot. Roblox is a gaming company that wants desperately to be a tech company. And that's the disconnect. They they they're trying so hard to not be a game company, but they are. They make games for kids and teenagers, and that's what they are. And they can have their cool little AI tech and their tech stacks that they tweet about all the time, but at the end of the day, all these kids want is good games. Okay, so I watched a video I think by the Roblox CEO, I don't know, a couple weeks ago, month ago, maybe maybe >> more recent, talking about he had this um it was like this AI demo and he's like going around to the world, he's typing things, the world's like updating and he's basically talking about >> the the Viking water game. >> Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. >> Um and so that in tandem with it feels like one of the most popular Roblox 1:33:13 trends is like how I use chatbt to vibe code a Roblox game in under 24 hours. Like what's your take on AI and like the vibe coding impact on people's ability to make Roblox games? Is it all just slop? >> I have yet to see a good Roblox game that was made with AI. Um I I'd say a lot of people that say that probably don't know what they're talking about. I think we'll probably get to a point where that's possible because like AI just seems inevitable at this point. Um, but like what that looks like, I have I have no idea. It's uh I know a lot of Roblox games they use AI to make the thumbnails and like if a lot of people found out about that, there'd probably be a giant community uproar, but like >> so about the thumbnails, >> Jin Alpha is very heavy no AI, especially the Roblox community. like pitchforks and torches. Do not touch us with any of that AI stuff. Um, 1:34:14 >> but they're definitely using it for like school and [ __ ] >> Yeah. Yeah. I I I think there's I think the big thing for Gen Alpha is the the notion that they're replacing people or that people are getting paid less or something. >> And like I mean, you know, we could have a discussion on AI. It's it's it feels it it's scary because it's like I don't like obviously as a YouTuber I I there's a Twitch streamer that's completely AI and a few days ago they were the most subbed Twitch streamer or whatever and it's like h that's scary. Um it's it's a crazy time. >> Have you ever used Claude code? Do you know what that is? >> I don't know what that is. >> Do you know what Claude is? >> Is that the I think I've heard the bot like the AI bot >> used uh chat GBT I would assume. Yeah, I know. Chad. >> Okay. So, like Open AAI makes chatbt and then >> Enthropic is like another company that makes AI similar to OpenAI. They're instead of CHBT, 1:35:16 their model is called Claude. >> And then they have this like code editor >> called Claude Code and it's really [ __ ] good. I was using it. So, I had it um >> like speaking to an in English. I built this like little script that downloaded like 20 of your YouTube videos. It like transcribed them like everything about CreekCraft >> and then it's giving me like summaries on like what you like, what you don't like, what not to ask him, like what to ask him about this game that launched on your birthday in 2020. And it's like giving me like comprehensive um just like summaries. I use it for my Twitch VODs as well. And it definitely does feel like it will get to a point, if not already, where talented people, especially on the dev side, can use the dev tools to like enhance their work and like enhance their speed, enhance their productivity. It definitely doesn't feel like, at least right now, that this narrative of like 99% of people that have any job that does anything are 1:36:17 going to be wiped off the face of the earth. Um, I can show you some off stream. I'll send you some like Claude code stuff and show you show you what I made. But I I I would understand why the younger generation in particular would hear the word and have like a visceral lock up type of reaction. >> Yeah, it's I I I think another thing too is like no well besides the um you know the employment thing, you've got the economic like um impacts of AI. I I I think there is like the opposite side of the coin like non-gen generative AI like you could have AI help in like cancer research which could speed up uh research on on diseases and and health stuff like I think that's a great like cool that's awesome that can help a lot of people. Um, I I think it's a it's an interesting topic and like kind of like where it's going. And then obviously there's the the Wall-E thing of like, 1:37:17 well, like if we do get to a point where AI can do everything, well then do people just not work anymore? Like what does that look like? I It's I I don't know. It's It's above my pay grade. >> Yeah. Yeah. Mine too. But it's interesting like the players of Roblox hate to hear the gamers I feel like in general just hate to hear the term AI but then Roblox senior management at every corner is like AI this AI that AI. >> Um do you think Roblox company likes you? >> Um you know I question that a lot. I I I talk to the CEO time to time. Um, like I I feel like a lot of people value my opinion. Like a lot of people don't like me, >> but I think there's definitely a lot of people that value my opinion because I don't sugarcoat things. And it's like I I I don't criticize Roblox 1:38:17 because I like criticizing Roblox. I do it because like if Roblox does good, then I do good. Players are happy, developers are happy. And it's like I just want it to be a good game. And a lot of people are kind of scared to, you know, bite the hand that feeds them a little bit, which is understandable. I just have a really big mouth. Like that's and I'm very opinionated. And so like I I'm just kind of that guy. Like I left the star program. I'm no longer partnered with Roblox. That was my decision. >> Did you probably say why you did that? >> Oh yeah. But when the Schle stuff happened, I was like, "Yeah, no." Like that was >> I don't want part of this. >> That was crazy. >> Yeah. Yeah. Um and I I did it cuz like obviously one YouTuber leaving whatever. But like obviously I'm one of the bigger ones. So I was hoping that it would be like kind of like an eyeopening moment for Roblox to kind of like sit back and be like look what's our problems right now? Like something needs to be something needs to happen here. Um 1:39:19 has that happened? I don't know. But, you know, I I like sticking to my guns, I guess, on things and trying not to compromise on like, you know, what I think is right and not right, you know, >> which honestly, which is why I've like enjoyed watching your stuff on on the UGC thing. What do you think like how big do you think it's going to get from here? Just the the concept of people creating and monetizing games and what do you think comes next? Like, is it just Roblox gets 10x bigger? Is it everybody competes for it? Things like Fortnite gain more market share? Like, where does it go from here? >> I hope that other games get uh like like Fortnite takes off that, you know, they've kind of copied Roblox a little bit with their like I forget what they're calling, but their own little like mini games or whatever. >> Um, maps. Yeah, maps. Um, >> I think Roblox needs competition. Like, look at Call of Duty and Battlefield. Battlefield shows up now. Call of Duty's got to like actually, you know, listen 1:40:19 to people. So, I want there to be another Roblox where like, you know, they have like some actual competition cuz then then they've got to like actually really try. Um, is that going to be Fortnite? I don't know cuz almost every Fortnite game right now is just dollar store Roblox. Um, which is ironic because most Roblox games are just dollar store steam. Um, >> is it like steal like is it like steal a brain rot Fortnite or like what is it? The top game on Fortnite right now that at a point had more players than the actual battle royale mode is a game called Steal the Brain Rot, which is a direct clone of Steal a Brain Rod on Roblox. >> It's exactly >> way. >> Yeah. >> So, it's just like a giant circle. Like everyone's just going around in a circle with the same games. >> Yeah. Yeah, pretty much. And like Roblox isn't, you know, like immune from that either. You could say Forsaken is basically Dead by Daylight, you know, like it's a little different, but like I I think it's a bigger discussion on 1:41:20 the gaming industry. And I I actually tweeted this the other day because I was talking to someone about this. Like you have a lot of AAA games coming like Grand Theft Auto 6. How much is that going to cost? $100? I don't know. Like kids aren't paying money for that anymore. They're playing these free games on Roblox and Fortnite. So, what's going to happen to the gaming industry when these kids grow up and don't want to spend any money buying a game? >> Yeah, I don't know. Um, it's it's an interesting interesting discussion. >> I would imagine the GTA 6 UGC. >> Yeah, that's going to that's going to have like >> like you're going to have to play are you going to play GTA 6? You have to, right? A little bit. >> Yeah. Yeah, we talked about it. We talked about it. Um, I'm gonna make a channel where I start swearing and playing Grand Theft Auto. Uh, >> start swearing. My bad. I >> I imagine No, you're good. I'm not streaming right now, so swear you want. Um, I I think what's going to happen is like Grand Theft Auto thought it was going to come out and a bunch of kids 1:42:21 aren't going to be able to play it either because it's, you know, their parents won't buy it for them or because, you know, they don't have money to buy it. And so people are just going to make, you know, the Grand Theft Auto clones and Roblox and those are going to be the big thing. Um, >> whoa, >> that's kind of a crazy take. GTA 6 and Rob like you that's probably classic, right? >> There's kind of already games like that. So like before 2020 the biggest game on Roblox was Jailbreak which is basically Grand Theft Auto. Close enough. Um, and like obviously over time that game's kind of teetered off a little bit, but I mean Roblox is very trendbased and so games follow trends. Brain Rock got really big, people make Brain Rock games. Um, so I expect once GTA comes out, people are going to make GTA style games. >> That is a cra. Um, not to throw a curveball, but do you hold Roblox stock? 1:43:22 >> I don't know. Uh, I have a person that does I >> just Okay. I was theory how how like excited you are about like the financial growth of it. >> Well, every time I look at the stock thing, I see a red arrow, so I assume that's not good. Um, so I hope I don't hold a lot of Roblox stock right now. Um, yeah. I don't know anything about like I I know Green Arrow good and red arrow bad and it's like great, you know? >> I I just thought it was a better question asking you think Roblox is going to get bigger. But um I I'll let you go in a minute. I have a couple more for you, but I'm curious on the like serious developer side. Like if you're one of, you know, say you were to back a game or just one of these studios where put big money behind a game. How do you deal with the volatility of like you grow a garden, you have like 600,000 concurrents for a couple weeks and then all of a sudden, you know, there's some controversy, whatever, whatever happens next week you have 30,000 players. H >> how do you deal with that? >> I think a a lot of Roblox developers 1:44:24 shoot themselves in the foot. Like the grower garden situation was entirely avoidable. I I think like the updates just it it I mean they ruin the game. Um there's a lot of games that obviously games have a life cycle. This is true with any game. They'll have a peak and you know the honeymoon phase doesn't last forever. Um so like Jailbreak for example, that game was the biggest game on Roblox from like 2017 to like 2020. >> That's crazy. >> It's no longer the biggest game on Roblox, but every day it has like 20,000 concurrents and it has that dedicated player base and that's still pretty good. that's more than a lot of actual games. Um, and that's just because they do a very good job at listening to people and updating the game. So, like I think a lot of a lot of big companies, and this this happens a lot in Roblox, a big company will buy a game, they'll just overmonetize it, squeeze everything they can out of it, game dies, everyone's shocked, and it just repeats over and over again. And I is is it is it better to do that in 1:45:25 the long in the short term or is it better to make a game where you have an actual buildup community that is going to last for like five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10 years? I don't know. But um obviously from a player perspective, the the second option is the is the more fun one. >> Yeah, big I mean I I guess makes sense how it always sort of ends, right? Um >> yeah. Do you have like a craziest Roblox developer story that you've ever heard of like some in a couple days someone made a crazy amount or like build something crazy? >> Well, like Grow Garden was made in a few days. Um, >> in three days I heard. >> Yeah. Which is which is wild. Um, it it it's it's funny because like when Grow Garden was blowing up, I saw that Bethesda posted like um uh the new Doom um yeah, New Doom game had like uh I think it was like a million people, million plays and like I'm looking at Girl Garden over here with 23 million players right here and it's like that's crazy. I'm like that's insane. And like 1:46:27 that game, you know, Doom takes like 3 years to make. They made this game on Roblox in like 3 days. It's um it feels a lot like YouTube. It sometimes you won't spend a lot of time on a video, but people value it more. You know, it it time spent doesn't necessarily um indicate the quality. You know, >> one of my favorite takes I heard is someone called Roblox and this may be a popular take, but they called it Roblox the YouTube for gaming. >> Yeah. I I I would say like it's very similar to to YouTube if you just look at the games as videos. Like it it's very similar. >> It's a fun take. Um and it's excit Yeah, dude. It's a sick world. Uh, I have become a fan of yours and I do appreciate you coming on as sort of like a sign off personal like selfish question and I'm assuming you're I know you're not very familiar with me but um we both stream and we both stream amongst a relatively like niche topic 1:47:29 maybe not the biggest in in the pond. Roblox is much bigger than the markets I talk about every day. But I'm curious like advice for continuing to focus on one thing, for streaming, for just like general growth. I know you've been at it for a long time, but dude, you're [ __ ] massive. >> Yeah, thank you. Thank you. Um, I mean, it's it's when you're kind of like starting out, you kind of have to focus on one thing because the thing is like people follow you, people subscribe to you because they like one thing that they watched. Like a lot of people, they'll just be like, Creek, why don't you just play whatever you want? And it's like, well, if I if I could do that, I'd be streaming World of Warcraft every day. But like, that's not what people subscribe for. They saw one thing, they want that one thing, that's what they subscribe for. And so, like, a lot of Roblox creators, they'll blow up off of like one game, that game dies, and it's like, oh crap, what do I do now? And so, you kind of have to like pivot to something else. Um, it's really hard to do variety right out the gate. What like a lot of people do is they'll, you know, 1:48:29 they'll build up their niche audience off of like one spec like you may not be the biggest streamer, but you might be the biggest streamer of a certain topic and then and then you can kind of branch out a little bit. Um, it's like you become the the big fish in a small pond and then you go to a slightly larger pond and then a slightly larger pond and just kind of make your way up, you know? >> Don't say dictate. Um, Creek, you're a legend, bro. Thank you for the time. Thanks for featuring me in the video. It was kind of a movie and I'm looking forward to to see what you put out, man. It was It was a pleasure. >> Thank you. I appreciate that. Thank you. Thank you. >> All right, my brother. Good luck with everything. Have a good one. >> Cool. You, too. >> Bye. >> I like that guy, man. Dad, I like that guy. That was a That's a cool ass dude, man. I like that guy. Also, by the way, we didn't spend a ton of time. I was trying to figure out like what he wanted to talk about about Roblox and I feel like he didn't want to spend like a ton of time talking about the finances behind the I'm trying to figure out how to [ __ ] flip games, but I feel like 1:49:30 he didn't want to spend a ton of time on like how to flip games or like the the markets behind them. But we got to figure out how to get in his Discord server, huh? They're trading games, buying and flipping games. We got to figure out how to get in his Discord server, dude. Right. That was my I keep thinking about this Discord server. M&A with Discord. We got to figure out how to do that. Um, we got to figure out how to get in this Discord server. That was interesting. Um, he has some good takes though. He has some good takes. And it's crazy. You know, you know the crazy thing about it is is I hate to be that guy, but crypto could just solve a lot of these problems. The most interesting thing he talked about was like, "Okay, imagine you're some 16-year-old kid. You 1:50:31 took some funding from, I don't know, you took $5,000 from some investor, like a couple couple of your homies to build some game on Roblox. You built this game. All of a sudden, you got $2 million in in dev bucks, $2 million United States dollars. And who's is it? Who's in charge? Whose money is this? What's the deal? Can you monetize further? How does any of this work? Roblox is taking 75% off the top. It's um it's like a weird problem. It's like kind of an unsolvable problem low key. 1:51:21 It's a weird It's a weird problem actually. I didn't even really consider that. But it's like Roblox's entire business model relies on like basically kids making games and making money from them, but there's no system at all for said kids to properly monetize in like a safe way. And so you're basically like figure it the [ __ ] out for a bunch of people that have never like, bro, I didn't know how to look at a contract when I was 16, 18, 20. Like it's a weird it's a weird problem. Um I'm not sure if Metadau fixes it, but smart contracts definitely do. Smart contracts definitely do. So yeah, that was fun. I don't know how much more we're going to talk about Roblox in the future unless it's discussing how to make money from it, but I wanted to I don't know. He [ __ ] put me in a YouTube video. I'm like, "All right, like yeah, I'm down. Let's let's I would love for you 1:52:23 to come on stream if you wanted to. And he he wanted to come on. So, honestly, shout out to that guy, Creekcraft. Cool. Cool ass cool ass human. Um, dare we check in on our beautiful digital precious metals. Not great. Not great, my friend. Also, real quick, cool story and just like thinking about you're maybe not the biggest streamer in the world, but you're the biggest streamer within your niche. And if you can get really good within the niche and the niche gets really big or you know the people really you get just get good at streaming, you can grow from it. Um, it's how I feel about crypto. It's not the biggest niche in the world, but I think that we're right. I really do think that we're right despite what these things look like right now. I really do think that we're right. Okay, let's see. Um, 1:53:23 Bitcoin not good. Not good. Again, I just I think it's going to be hard for us to reclaim any narrative until this stops. It's to do something. Either just keep [ __ ] going or stop. Anything in between, we're just in a weird spot. Um, copper, gold, silver, etc. 84 ETH, not good. Hype not good. Solo, not good. This is the one that I really want to trade, but this I I again I did it. I had a level. I didn't pay attention and I I joined too early once again and I I lost money on it. I I'm going to just follow the levels. I have a couple tweets like I don't really want to read this one. Been watching Metals Rip for weeks and finally admitted to myself this isn't healthy hedging. It's the market buying tickets to the lifeboats while the band on the risk on deck keeps playing EDM. Gold, silver, copper, uranium. All the boring boomer rocks we laughed at are suddenly trading like 2024 meme coins 1:54:23 with pensions behind them. This is AI, right? There's obviously an AI. This is obviously written by AI. Um, and everyone's first instinct is to co-post about the rotation like this. Just another harmless macro trade. Lol. War premium. We told oursel about Bitcoin with digital gold. But when things start to smell like actual tail risk, real money still runs to the stuff you can melt, dig, or fire at someone. Uh, because rocks don't care if the internet goes down, some stray gets blocked. Imagine how cursed it is if it really escalates. And history books of 40 years say as tensions rose and nations quietly rearmed. the younger generation use. This is a bad take, honestly. Hey, look, this sounds like Chad GBT. This is Chad GBT. It kind of feels to me and my novice understanding of how these metal market works is that this [ __ ] is just trading like all coin rotations. It really is just trading like all coin rotations at this point. It's like everyone on my timeline is long copper because silver looks like this and 1:55:24 silver looks like this because gold looks like this. They're long copper because uranium pumped and uranium pumped cuz silver pumped and silver pump is gold pumped. And the real money's in this. I feel like this is the this is the chart that we really need to watch. Um to see what happens here. I dare we watch 10 15 minutes of this. It came out three days ago. I have on my list to watch 15 minutes. Do you want to watch some of this? Tulip King. How much should we watch? 1.5 maybe and we'll watch some of it. 2x is crazy. Like 10 15. Let's watch a few minutes of it. >> 2x is crazy. I catch you 2x. >> Peter, thank you for for doing this. So when did you personally first 1:56:26 my brain just can't accept that we lo we shift shift was right not just about gold which is okay but about bitcoin the world doesn't allow like it's if in a scenario where it's not just enough for you to be right but for your enemies to perish the world doesn't let that slide I'm just going to say but look he posted for 19 years. He deserves a little victory lap. 19 years. Let's watch a little and see. >> Peter, thank you for for doing this. So, when did you personally first start buying gold? Physical gold. >> Well, you know, ironically, the first time I bought gold was when I got bar mitzvah. That's how this was when I was 13 years old. >> Wow. >> And 1:57:13 49 years he's been long. 49 years. Peter Schiff has been holding gold for 49 years and you know so this is in the 70s when the you know the original gold bull market right and so I got my bar mitzvah and because of my father um I you know I bought gold and I ended up selling it coincidentally at near the highs in 1980 because that's because gold went from $35 an ounce in 1970 to $850 1980. So in the middle of that run, I took my bar mitzvah money cuz I probably got bar mitzvah in 197576 and I got took my bar mitzvah money and I bought gold and I sold it to buy my first car which I was a senior in high school. It was an MGB convertible. >> Nice. >> Yeah. So although it broke down all the >> Sorry. 1:58:07 Damn. I hate this [ __ ] is fly. I hate that this is fly, bro. Wow. the time and and I didn't I bought it. It was a stick shift. I didn't know how to drive a stick, but I wanted that car. So, I had to figure it out as I was going along. So, I happened to get out of gold, you know, near the highs because then gold went into a 20-year bare market, right? From 1980 when gold hit 800, it was bottomed out at 250 >> year bare market 2000, 1999, 2000, >> but that's about when I started recommending it. So, I I got into the brokerage business in the 1990s and I was a stock broker. Um, and but I, you know, I also wanted my clients to own gold. I didn't, I wasn't in the gold business at the time, but I believed that everybody should have, you know, some of their portfolio in gold. And so that's when I started recommending it. And so it's outperformed by a pretty big margin. Uh, you know, the S&P 500, Dow Jones, you know, going back to the beginning of this century, right, 20201, if you were to price the Dow in terms of gold, it's down about 70%. and and yeah I mean so there's an illusion that oh 1:59:07 you know we have all this prosperity because in the year 2000 the Dow was about 10,000 and now it's almost 50,000 >> after 2x when you price it in dollars that have lost a lot of their purchasing power but when you price it in gold and realize that hey gold was 300 back then and now it's 4,300 right the gold it you it took I think 45 um ounces of gold to buy the Dow and I forget what it is now maybe 16 or 13 you know it's you can buy a lot more of the Dow now than you could back then so what that shows you is that the pain in the stock market is inflation. It's not real value that's been created in the market. We've just destroyed the value of the currency that we use to price things in. And so you need more dollars to buy stocks, but you don't need more gold. You could buy stocks with a lot less gold because gold is real money. Government can't just create gold. They can't create inflation and and create gold out of thin air like they do Federal Reserve notes, paper dollars. You know, originally the dollar >> inflation 3% every year, but who's counting? >> In 1792 was defined as a weight of gold. I mean, that's really what the dollar was. It was a specific quantity of gold 2:00:03 or silver. And you know, for a long time, you know, till 1913 when we got the Federal Reserve, we were pretty much just using gold and silver as money. >> The thing about Peter Schiff, which is so funny, maybe we're may, you know, maybe maybe we are wrong, is he basically just shills Bitcoin and doesn't really realize it or maybe he doesn't want to realize it and he's actually shilling gold and he's right and we're wrong. I guess it's possible, but every argument he makes for gold is also a pro Bitcoin argument. When the Federal Reserve was created, all the Federal Reserve notes were redeemable and lawful money in gold. And and gold was money up until 1971. And even though Americans couldn't uh, you know, redeem their Federal Reserve notes, which we call dollars, they couldn't redeem them for gold, foreign foreign governments could. And foreign governments held a lot of gold as dollars as a reserve, but they did that because they knew that those dollars were not only backed by gold, but convertible on demand into gold. And so, you know, we were on a gold standard even through the dollar up until 1971. Once you know once we defaulted and the US government you know 2:00:55 reig on its commitments to pay to pay gold for its notes that's when the real inflation started that's when we really started printing a lot of money and that's why you had the big price increases of the 1970s uh you know it and it wasn't you know >> which we've covered extensively we'll watch 15 minutes of this we're four and a half minutes in we've covered the 1970 pumps Nixon Arthur Burns >> Arabs that were just you know uh jacking up their oil prices because oil went from $3 a barrel to $40 a barrel but it wasn't that oil was getting more expensive it's just that we used to pay for our oil with gold and we started paying for it with paper. But all that money, we printed it, you know, in the 60s, you know, for the war on poverty, the Great Society, the Vietnam War. We ran these big deficits, which, you know, were small by today's standards, but they were big back then. And they were financed with inflation. And we saw the consequences in the 1970s. And we may have had a real dollar crisis because the dollar lost about twothirds of its value during that decade against other currencies like the Swiss Frank, the euro, the Japanese yen. But when Reagan 2:01:47 came in, you we had Vulkar in 1980 and interest rates went up to 20%. and we really had some substantial uh reforms in our tax system and we created a lot more confidence in our economy. We kind of stopped the dollar's decline at that point. Um but now I think we're on the verge of a much bigger crisis because I think that this time around it's not going to be the US going off the gold standard. It's going to be the world going off the dollar standard. >> And you really have to understand the degree to which the US has used the dollar and its reserve status as a crutch. And our entire way of life as Americans has been supported by the by the idea that we could just create dollars out of thin air and then use those dollars to buy what the rest of the world produces. Right? We have these huge trade deficits now. Um you know, in fact, you know, Donald Trump used to talk about trade deficits a lot um as being the problem. They're a consequence of the problem. They're not the problem per se. But what enables these huge trade deficits, we have over a trillion dollar year trade deficit, is the world is willing to accept the money that we print for the goods that they produce. 2:02:42 And you know, when you produce goods, you need a lot of resources. You need land, labor, capital, you need factories, you need supply chains, you need raw materials, you need workers, right? And we, you know, you don't need anything just to create money out of thin air. The Fed just, you know, adds zeros, right? Bitcoin. >> And so we're able to create dollars that the world wants and we get all their stuff. We didn't have to produce it. Then the world takes the dollars that they earn from us and they buy stocks, they buy real estate, they buy our bonds. And so as a result, our asset prices have gone up and goods prices have stayed down and interest rates have been relatively low because we're able to borrow with the rest of the world safe. Well, >> he's spitting right now. Spade is spade. He's [ __ ] articulate, man. >> Even though we don't save very much ourselves and we don't produce very much, uh, you know, we get the benefit of of of all these goods uh that are coming in and we get all the foreign savings that are financing our our spending. And I think all of that is about to change. I think that, you know, when Donald Trump talked about liberation day, ironically, it was the 2:03:33 rest of the world that is going to be liberated from the burden of having to support the US economy. When Trump says that the world has been screwing us over and ripping us off, he's got it backwards. we've been screwing them over because we we've been getting their stuff and all we do is export our inflation. They get our paper. We get things that make our lives better and and and they get our IUs and then, you know, they use our IUs to buy up our financial assets. Uh but I think this is all changing and I think what we're seeing now in the price of gold where it's finally broken out of its uh consolidation because after gold went from 300, 250, 300 to 1900, right? That was a 10-year move. Uh it went sideways from from 2011 to 2024 and it really broke out at the beginning of last year and uh it's more than doubled since then. Silver has finally broken out. Silver had a double top at around 50 from 1980 to 2011 and it just broke out this year. >> 31year double top. 31 years he's been buying silver. 31 years, bro. By the way, Tucker Carlson's only asked him one question for the record. He asked him one question. He said, "When 2:04:34 did you first buy gold?" Just >> gold, you know, broke out last year. Uh but now you're seeing this movement out of dollars. Foreign central banks have been huge buyers of gold because they've been moving away from the dollar. They've been devesting themselves of dollars and buying gold instead. Well, 2026 is likely to be the year that some companies will find patriotism. They'll discover it. During the Biden years, corporate America thought hating our country was the thing to do, so they did it. Means 200 mill. >> What do we know about who's buying it? Which central banks? Well, the major central banks. >> This is the real [ __ ] take right here. Central banks are slamming it and Bitcoin's too small to buy and or they're buying it to get away from the United States and Trump has claimed Bitcoin as United States asset >> other than you know the west you know you talk about in in Russia and India and uh China and even smaller ones you Poland or various countries uh are are buying are buying gold and they're buying gold because they want to get out of dollars and in fact you know one of the things that that happened to really cause um this to happen in a bigger way 2:05:28 was when when when Biden was president and he sanctioned Russia. This is the problem. This is Watch this. Ready? And they're buying gold because they want to get out of dollars. And you hear that and then you see this Justin Cryptozar David Sax says the US is quote one step closer to becoming the crypto capital of the world. And then you think to yourself, we have a narrative problem for the first time in a long time on Bitcoin. The first time ever probably. In fact, you know, one of the things that that happened to really cause um this to happen in a bigger way was when when when Biden was president and he sanctioned Russia and in sanctioning them, they basically took away a lot of their dollar reserves that they had entrusted in dollars and we basically pulled the rug out from under them. We sent a message to the rest of the world that you could be next. Yeah, that >> this was the moment by the way. Russia, Ukraine. This is what Arthur Hayes talks. This is what Arthur Hayes talked about. This is what Matt Hogan talked 2:06:29 about. 2023, Russia invades Ukraine. They basically get the rug pulled. US basically pulls the rug on Russia, freezes all their assets, and then every country's like, uh, it's the same reason you buy Bitcoin. It's like, uh, have a 100, you know, we 100% exposed to US assets. Maybe we should be like 95 or like 90 or 85 or 80 and put the rest in gold instead of if you hold your reserves in dollars, you're vulnerable. If you do it, it will store value. Yeah. I mean, it wouldn't even store value, but but as a reserve asset and and so that was a political impetus, but the real reason for getting out of the dollar is that we're going to destroy its value. We have this runaway uh deficit spending. Uh that is the source of all the inflation that we have. It's the Fed monetizing the debt that the government is creating. A lot of people don't know what inflation is. They just think it's prices going up because that's what the governments tell them or some economists tell them. But prices going up are a consequence of inflation. They're not inflation. Inflation is an expansion of the supply of money and credit. And when you expand money, you expand credit, right? That 2:07:27 bids up prices. And so as a result of inflation, prices go up, right? The root of the word inflate means to expand, right? Prices don't expand. They go up, they go down. And if you get >> How much more you want to listen to rely about inflation? That's a long segment. Tell me when you want me to turn it off. >> Get an old dictionary. Get an old Webster's dictionary. even as even as late as the 80s and you look up inflation, that's exactly what it says. An expansion of the money supply, right? But the government kind of redefined inflation because if you define it properly, well, it's pretty obvious who causes it. >> Right. Right. So, but anyone increasing the money supply, >> right? But if you change the definition to rising prices, now the public blames whoever it is that's raising the prices, right? That that's where it's coming from. And so, the government is able to blame the private sector, whether it's corporations or workers, uh, for prices going up when they're simply raising prices in response to inflation. And of course sometimes inflation just doesn't just cause prices to go up. It prevents them from going down. See in a free market economy in a capitalist economy 2:08:19 the natural tend >> this is the perfect punishment for today >> for prices is to go down right if you look at the CPI in 1900 of efficiencies. Yes. If you look at the CPI in 1900 and you look at it in 1800 it was down by 50%. So for 100 years in America prices went down and during that time we had the industrial re >> All right. Wait. Oh god. You want to watch the crypto verse gold segment? How long is it? >> Donald Trump wants to micromanage the economy from the White House. Like he's the CEO. He wants to decide where he thinks capital should go and direct it into industries that he that he likes or companies that he likes. And that's wrong. I mean I mean one of the big industries that he's promoting is crypto. And for me I think this is a complete waste of capital. Now yeah I mean if Americans want to throw their money away in a lot of these crypto companies all right. I mean, it's it's unfortunate, but if the government is now promoting it and pushing money into this industry that might have gone someplace else if it was a free market, >> they're really not though. What money are they pushing into crypto? They're, 2:09:19 if anything, all the Trump admin has done is use crypto as a vehicle to scam and extract. Think think about what they've done since they appointed David Sachs to Cryptosar, who's basically done nothing. They've been working on the they got the Genius Act passed for US regulated stable coins. That was good. But they've been working on this Clarity Act market structure bill forever. It's not through. They launched Melaniacoin and Trumpcoin and extracted billions of dollars from the ecosystem. And then they launched World Liberty Fi is a basically a means to take money out of crypto. And what money has the US directed to be poured into crypto? ETFs were already approved. We had the DAT cycle which was awful. full-blown extraction. I I don't necessarily think that I mean, you can't even pretend to convince yourself that Trump has done anything positive for crypto. There's no capital that's been directed here. If 2:10:20 anything, the only thing that they've done is encourage capital to extract or to leave. I mean, they've used crypto as a vehicle to extract. That's it. This >> is doing a lot of harm. Why is it throwing I mean, you know, you meet all these people who've made hundreds of millions. You meet kids who've made real money from crypto. Why is it throwing it away? >> Well, because where did they make it? They they didn't make money in crypto because they, you know, produced products that we consume or provide services that improve our lives. The people who have made money in crypto, and I know a lot of them, they've made money in crypto because the crypto that they bought a long time ago went way up. >> Yeah. How the [ __ ] should you make money in gold, Peter Schiff? You made money in gold, not by producing products or services. You made money in gold because gold went up and you also have a website where you sell gold and you take a a broker fee on that as well. That >> How's that different from buying gold? Well, I'm not people I don't know a lot of people who got rich buying gold, right? Uh >> I've done really well. Just be honest. And so have you. 2:11:07 >> No. Well, okay. We tripled our money. People I don't know a lot of people who they bought a long time ago went way up. How's that different from buying gold? >> Well, I'm I'm not people I don't know a lot of people who got rich buying gold. Right. Uh >> I've done really well. Just be honest. And so have you. >> No. Right. Okay. We've tripled our money. I'm talking I'm talking about people who bought Bitcoin for a dollar and now it's $90,000. Right. You're talking about people who put >> Okay. So it's a big run up. But it's the same. But when you buy gold, which I'm I own a gold company. I'm totally for buying gold, but you're not it's not a creative act. You're not making anything. You're not making anyone's life better. You're not really adding to doing anything other than buying something low and holding until it's high. >> Right. But there is a big difference, and I'll get to that in a minute. But the people who have made money in in crypto, >> I'll get to it in a minute. He says, >> right, it they bought it, >> by the way, 2:11:59 battalion medals. Carl is getting into the physical gold business, bringing integrity back to the precious metals industry. And it's a video of Tucker Carlson. Got it. At a very low price. And now other people are buying it at a much higher price, believing that they're going to be able to do the same thing. There are people who are buying Bitcoin now at, you know, $90,000, whatever it's happen. They're buying it because they think it's going to a million. They think they'll be able to sell it at a million. >> People are buying [ __ ] gold. And of course, the only reason someone's going to buy it at a million is because they think it's going to 10 million, right? So, it's all this greater fool theory. And so, >> why is that different from Nvidia or or any stock? >> So, Nvidia, right? And I I think Nvidia is overpriced, but Nvidia is a business that is generating income, right? Selling its GPUs and has earnings. So, it's an actual viable business. The question is what is that business worth? I think it's worth less than the market currently believes, but it's worth something. There's no doubt that Nvidia is a valuable company that is producing things that that people need. 2:12:52 >> The rational for the trade like for the average person buying any stock is that I will buy it lower than I will sell it. Well, and the people at the very end of that chain as it starts to decline get screwed. Well, if that's the reason, look, if if we buy stocks, right, for my our customers at your Pacific Asset Management, which is my my company, the most important criteria is the current earnings and the dividends, right? So, I'm buying companies because they generate income to me as the owner. Just like if I were to buy real estate, I would look at the rental income, right? What am I getting in? It's just funny though because it's it's like he's gonna he uses this, you know, the generate earnings cash flows as a anti- Bitcoin argument, but then he's the gold guy. If you just buy real estate because you think the price is going to go up. Well, you're a real estate speculator. Maybe you'll speculate right, maybe you'll be wrong, but it's different from an investor who's looking at the cash flow. So, when I buy a stock, if I'm getting a 7, 8, 9% dividend, right? Because I own that company, it's paying me a dividend. I don't need the stock to go up. I just 2:13:42 get my share of the income. I'm buying into a business that is generating income. Now, if the business grows and generates more income in addition to my dividend yield when I go to sell the stock in the future, if it's a more valuable company that's generating more income and paying more dividends, then I can sell it at a higher price than what I paid, right? Because the business itself is more valuable. But if you're simply buying a company that doesn't even make any money and maybe it's losing money and you just want to bet that in the future it might make money, you're speculating on a stock. You could speculate, but it's very different from being an investor, right? You're you're a stock speculator. But when you buy Bitcoin, you're not even speculating in the sense that Bitcoin is going to earn money in the future. It's never going to earn money in the future. It is a non-income producing digital asset. >> Seriously, it's a good take. If you replace the word gold with Bitcoin and Bitcoin with gold, you are literally Michael Sailor. It's the only difference between them. It's the same. It's the same thesis. It is like the exact epitome of the It is the identical 2:14:30 thesis. It is the identical thesis except one can't be inflated. It's the money of the internet. It's the new generation. It's the digital version. It has product market fit as the money of the internet. powers everything online. Everything goes get digital. You don't have to store it. You could cross country borders with 10 billion dollars by remembering 12 words in your head. It's like go. It's like gold if you made it perfect. And it's 20x cheaper. >> It's marketed as if it were. And it's also a permissionless public public ledger that will exist in perpetuity forever as long as there's you have access to an internet connection which powers the world. >> Digital gold, but it's not digital gold at all. It's got nothing in common with gold. Gold is a valuable commodity. Now, when you own gold, when you decide to buy some gold, right? What you're doing is you're storing that gold so that somebody in the future can use it. Right? Gold is unique among commodities in that it doesn't decay. It doesn't 2:15:30 >> But nobody uses it. You use gold. I have like a little bit of gold on my neck. It uses gold >> spoil, right? For thousands of years, you know, gold will stay the same, right? And if you know, if a if a ship sunk 500 years ago in the in the ocean and you can salvage that ship today, if there was gold in it, it's it looks exactly the way it looked when the ship sank. Everything else is so the physical properties of it are enduring >> and but they're not just enduring, they are important and valuable because they're needed in all sorts of industries, right? And so when you are storing gold, the gold that you're storing can be used in the future not just by a jeweler who would want it, you know, to make jewelry, but you know, to use in aerospace, in consumer electronics, in medicine, there are all 2:16:34 He's 2:16:47 not pushing 185. Well, this actually higher than I thought. That's actually a lot higher than I thought. Not going to lie. I would have sipped way lower. Okay. Uh we're going to not use this argument. It doesn't conform to my bias. >> All sorts of things where you actually need gold. There industrial applications for gold, >> right? And there are more uses for gold now than there's ever been. And in fact, we're developing new uses all the time. So as as we advance as a civilization, we come up with more ways that we can utilize gold. And so when you're storing that gold and you know you are you know >> we're coming up with new ways to use it >> holding it for somebody to use it in the future. That's why it's a store of value. Can I also add to that? I mean that's obviously true. >> Yeah. To be fair though 44% value of jewelry is also speculative though. Downstream price gold. It's like art. That could take by the way. 2:17:47 >> It's even more true for platinum which is not as priced as gold. And I think the difference is that gold does have a mystical quality to it. It's been a medium of exchange for all recorded human history. All recorded I mean from the earliest rings we have referred gold. So there's something about gold that people associate with value. >> Well, it has value. It's not that they associate it. >> Well, it has real value. Okay. It has >> but even just look just even here I have a gold bracelet that I'm wearing. I mean just having a a jeweler. I have a gold watch, right? I like I wear gold when I know I'm going to talk about gold. >> But the reason people could see that that people like it for a reason as to wear it as gold, but the reason is not so easily explained. It's not just that it's you know, >> but it doesn't just like have value because you're wearing it. It's like I'm wearing a [ __ ] hoodie that has polyester plastic in the big 26 doesn't make it worth5$500 an ounce >> useful in medical devices or in consumer electronics is there something about it that resonates that you know hums at a certain frequency within people and right and you're talking that is 2:18:34 societies that never had any interaction with each other were using gold what I'm saying but we don't know why let's be honest we don't actually know what that is >> no but when you look at gold and you look at the things you can do with it and the properties that it has you know we as humans value the properties that gold but it's just inherent it's like we always Well, I would I would I would imagine that if there's life on other planets, they value gold there, too. You know, I I I think it's kind of a universal thing as far as the properties that gold has. Now, what what Bitcoin did, right? Gold wasn't the first money. It was the best money, right? Because before we had money, there was barter, right? We invented money. But when when there was no money and if two people wanted to trade uh with each other, you know, they they they would barter. So, if I was a butcher and you were a baker and you know, you wanted some meat, you would offer me some of your bread, right? And then I would give you some meat and and and we could trade. But what if you're a vegetarian, right? What if you don't want meat? how you know how am I going to buy your bread if all I 2:19:16 have is meat right so it's it was difficult because you needed a confluence of needs but man invented money right which was a commodity that everybody would accept as payment and so if I had money then I could buy your bread and give you the money and then you could take that money right and buy something else but the money also had to be something of value but not bread which would go stale or meat that would um you know go bad the money had to be a commodity that would hold on to its value and so that's where you know gold came in so instead of giving you meat that you'd have to eat right away or freeze it or something I just give you gold and you knew that that was valuable and somebody else the candlestick maker would take gold for his candlesticks. You don't need to give him meat. You don't need to give him bread. So, you know, and a lot of things were used as money, you know, throughout societies. But what what what ended up being >> My least favorite take though, by the way, is alien take. We got cut the alien [ __ ] There was life on another planet. I honestly think they would find Bitcoin more fascinating than gold. It's like, dude, we got to cut that. That got to go as a 2:20:07 take. As a serious take that we are sharing on the stream, that has to go. No more of that. No more of this aliens wood blank because if that's all we got, dude, the guy Hunter came on and he's like, "Yeah, I think I think an alien god invented Bitcoin." And like that's maybe true, but if that is true, can you call your alien god and tell him to come hit the charts, hit the green button? 2:20:51 Okay, here's one more interesting take. um he posted it so we can talk about it on on this is me and Malcolm um got dinner with Vicki the other day who I think is one of the smartest traders in the world and he basically had this like philosophical take that the United States I'm going to butcher it so bear with me um the United States and like the 1900s and the whole like rise to power of the United States was amidst this like industrial ustrial revolution. It was this like industrial country and we like produced stuff and we bu built physical stuff and we had infrastructure and we were this like industrial power up until I don't know what like the [ __ ] cold war we landed on the moon whatever whatever and basically like the 80s 90s and really like the 2000s on we pivoted and everything that we've built of value has been digital it's been software it's been bits as he called it bits um 2:21:53 bits and Adams was his discretion here. It was like we were we were in Adams country and then we became a bits country and all of the growth that happened in the United States were bits and he basically has this take that Peter Thiel and a lot of the really smart people in the world have been discussing for a while there's going to be a great rotation from Adams or from Bits back to Adams, right? Like as we it's like all they're talking about right now, right? It's like um you know the shortage of rare earth metals. The United States realizes, "Holy [ __ ] we actually can't produce anything and we actually need these metals and actually China has become this like world power by focusing on atoms, right? They build all this infrastructure. They build they build um the the industrial side and then we're like, "Oh [ __ ] we're late." And so there's like a sick back and forth. There's the to video basically talking about the rotation from Bits to Adams and then there's a quote tweet basically like disagreeing and saying that it's not possible. Let's watch both. The story I >> I don't know if I explained that terribly but maybe I didn't. 2:22:53 >> I would generally tell for the last 50 years since the 1970s early '7s is that we've been not absolute stagnation. We've been in an area of relative stagnation where there has been um very limited progress in the world of atoms the world of physical things um um and there has been um a lot of progress in the world of bits information computers internet mobile internet you know now now AI >> what are you referring to when you saying the world of physical things? Um, you know, it's >> Yeah, you're [ __ ] but we understand. Basically, >> any um it's well, if we had to find technology, if we were sitting here in 1967, the year we were born, and we had a discussion about technology, what technology would have meant would it would have meant computers. It would have also meant rockets. It would have meant supersonic airplanes. It would have meant um new medicines. It would have meant the green revolution in agriculture. >> He's definitely dying his hair, by the way, right? >> Maybe underwater cities. Um you know, it it sort of had and it because technology simply gets defined as that which is changing, that which is progressing. And so there's progress on all these fronts. 2:23:46 Today, last 20 years, when you talk about technology, you're normally just talking about information technology. Technology has been reduced to meaning computers. And that tells you that the structure of progress has been weird. There's been this narrow cone of very intense progress around the world of bits, around the world of computers, and then all the other areas have been relatively stagnant. We're not moving any faster. You know, the Concord got decommissioned in 2003 or whatever. Um, and then with all the low tech airport security measures, it takes even longer to fly to get through all of them from from one city to the next. You know, the highways have gone backwards because there more traffic jams. We haven't figured out ways around those. So there sort of we're literally moving slower than we were 40 or 50 years ago. Um and um and then yeah someh and that's that's sort of the uh that's sort of the um and then you know the and then of course um there's also a sense in which uh these the screens and the devices you know have have this effect distracting us from this. So, you know, when you're, you know, riding a hundred-y old subway in New York City and you're looking at 2:24:33 your iPhone, you can you can look at, wow, this is this cool new gadget, but you're also being distracted from the fact that your lived environment hasn't changed, you know, in 100 years. And and and so there's yet there's a question, how important is this world of bits versus versus the world of atoms? You know, I would say as human beings, we're physically embodied in a material world. And so, I I would always say this world of atoms is pretty important. And when that's pretty stagnant, you know, there's a lot of stuff that that doesn't make sense. I was an undergraduate at Stanford, late ' 80s, and at the time, um, in retrospect, every engineering area would have been a bad thing to go into. You know, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering. >> Hey, good take by the way. When was the last time this brother was on the metro? >> He not riding the New York subway. >> All these engineering fields where you were tinkering and trying to do new things because these things turned out to be stuck. They were regulated. You couldn't come up with new things to do. Nuclear engineering, aerrowastro engineering, people already knew those were really bad ones to go into. They 2:25:20 were, you know, outlawed. You weren't going to make any progress in new nuclear reactor designs or stuff like that. um electrical engineering which was the one that sort of adjacent to making semiconductors that one was still okay and then the only field that uh was actually going to progress a lot was computer science and um and again you know it's it's been very powerful but that was not the felt since the 1980s in the 1980s computer science was this ridiculous inferior subject um you know I always the the linguistic cut is always when when people use the word science I'm in favor of science I'm not in favor of science in quotes and when it's always a tell that it's not >> that's the take um do you agree or disagree with the take like makes sense. You could you could reason with it. Quote tweet from Gam who's our resident bull is I've discussed this a lot when I've discussed this a lot as well from a late stage capitalism angle. There's simply less things that can be improved. We are hitting physical limits. We can't handle cars going over 100 miles hour. We don't need refrigerators that get colder than freezing. Communication can't be faster than cell phones. The 2:26:19 sound barriers is restricting flight for now. We have hit physical limits for many things. Hence, progress has largely been digital, virtual, quote, meta progress. Sick take. And um as it I don't know, as we look at this and we look at what we get excited about the Google Deep Mind metaverse building and AI and Claude code, it does continue to feel like the most exciting potential for growth continues to just be on the bit side. Like I don't know. Like he makes a good point, right? Like yeah, the cities are the exact same as they were 100 years ago, but I don't know. I live in a pretty [ __ ] lit building. But then here's the thing. Think he tweets that, but then he tweets this right after. We will never return to touching grass just as we will never return to using the horse and buggy. Anybody that tries to fight this tide will inevitably be selected out. civilization will continue 2:27:21 to be more terminally online. It's like a direct. 2:27:33 It's like, yeah, I'm down to agree with we need to improve the atoms side of the world and maybe focus more on the atoms. But is the bits side going to become more important and bigger or less important over the next 5 to 10 years? And maybe it is depressing, but at the same time, the hyper bitcoinization outcome is like a little bit depressing, bro. It's a little bit depressing if you really sit here and think about like what the world looks like in a scenario where we are just 100% bit dominated and Bitcoin Bitcoin wins which you know it might take longer than we think. It might get time rubbed, but it's going to it's going to win. 2:28:36 And so that outcome from even the most bullish optimistic Bitcoiners you ever talk to, it's like not the most exciting future in the world for like the outdoor people. Now, this on the topic of just bad news is bad news. Do you want it or no? Do you want bad news or no? 2:29:14 You want it? [ __ ] it. No, it's it's not great. It's not the worst thing in the world, but it's pretty bad. [ __ ] level me, bro. All right. Um, OpenAI plans fourth quarter IPO and race to be anthropic to market. Not what you want to see right now. 2:29:53 really not what you want to see because we have potentially reached there is no more money to squeeze out of private investors and so it's now time to squeeze from public investors. I don't really think the market is gonna react very good to this. They're terrified of Claude, rightfully so. But once the Giants start IPOing, it's GG's, right? What's the historical precedent for this? Like, okay, um, OpenAI just announced their IPO. My thinking is once the AI giants start IPOing, it's probably the local top, if not close to it. No more 2:30:54 money to squeeze from private investors. So, we need to take it from the public. But listen, the trenches are hot right now. Dude, stop. Stop it, man. 2:31:29 It's probably going to be one T plus too, right? Like, let's see. Damn, crazy news. Oh, no. Not this. Look at this too. SpaceX talks two trillion. SpaceX IPO talks now two trillion. I hear 2:32:09 a 2:32:18 Yeah. Not great. Let's read this. No, I want to read it. 2:32:36 Damn. This like just break like right now. Is that the first story? It is the fir It's the only story. Wow. It's the only story, bro. First they haven't potentially do precedent. IPO count 677 in 1996. The collapse just 80 2001 insider selling the real story. Um, the IPO announcements aren't the signal. The actual IPO is happening. Same valuation is massive retail participation is. We're still in the announcement phase. Top signals when these deals close and the public buys in at trillion dollar valuations. The parallel isn't perfect either. 2:33:32 Yeah, not a great take on this. Um see this we not buying open AI IPO by the way at onet also. Yeah Elon must SpaceX and toss the Burge XAI before IPO. Yeah, look at this. 2:34:20 How's our volume? 2:34:40 Damn, look at this. P make will personally make 42 billion from the SpaceX IPO. Oh my god. Talking about the subway hasn't gotten better in 100 years. 2:35:08 Look at the trenches. What do you want me to look at? Dude, I can't believe you're telling me to look at the trenches right now. It comes at 83K. Look at the trenches. Elon Coin. It's at 2 mil. I just like can't get excited about this [ __ ] right now. Elon Coin. I I just can't really get excited about Eloncoin. I'm trying to figure out what the [ __ ] we we rotate into. That's what I'm I'm trying to figure out what we buy next. I'm trying to figure out what the next trade is, what we do next. I'm not really I can't really get excited about Elon Coin right now, bro. Are you still holding pump? No, no, no. I cut it super tight. I cut super tight. I'm not really down to lose money right now. 2:36:15 Yeah, there's not that much uh coverage about this. Let's see. Open AI. There's really like minimal coverage about it right now. 2:36:35 Why does it have a alien friends PFP? I love how they framed it, by the way, with 2:36:53 to compete with anthropic. Whose whose story is this? Why did they frame it like this? To compete with anthrop to compete with anthropic? That's a crazy narrative that they uh 2:37:22 Yeah. 830 BS. Amazon also invested 50B and they're going to IPO at a T. Yeah, weird times, my friends. We are in weird times. Um, well, at the very least, five years from now, when we're all rich and we made the right trades and we hit the right rotations, we're going to look back and we're going to be like, man, remember when the threat guy stream was tiny and we were going through canon event after canon event after event on AI. eye and vibe coding and metals. And that time we were actually concerned about Bitcoin. And that time people were actually wondering like crypto could it not be the best? 2:38:24 Remember those times when we actually for a second thought that we wouldn't be Peter Schiff, the good parts, and be so right. And you know, I think the reason right now is weird chat and the reason that like like I almost feel weird kind of coming to y'all and we're like learning in public because I'm a little bit like is that there's not really a clear what's happening right now. The most clear through line from every smart person is, "Wow, something definitely broke and I can't wait to figure out what it is." This is the most like this is the reason I'm like hesitant to bring on the macromackro guys and why I'm like not that excited to like bring on the macro profits to tell us about like the yen carry trade or like interest rates or any of this is because the macro guys are probably the least clueless right now. The TA guys are in shambles. The macro guys I think are in medals generally, but they all have a completely different reason as to why 2:39:25 that they're in medals. And everyone has a different take for everything right now. Like it it I feel like it's the most segregated and fragmented I've seen people on like what's happening. And the only throughine take is something broke and hopefully we're a day closer to figuring out what exactly that is. And I don't even really know what that means. Like what do you do with that information exactly? I I don't really know. Uh maybe you just say [ __ ] it and you long gold with a with a tight stop tight stop loss and just see what happens. But I'm going to do the only thing that I know what to do in this spot is I'm going to continue to believe what I believe in until it's fundamentally broken. And I'm going to show up stream tomorrow. And the way things are moving right now is the 19 things that happened between now and tomorrow's stream. I'm going to write down and then we're going to talk about it on stream tomorrow. 2:40:25 Then we're going to do the same thing on Monday and the same thing tomorrow, the day after, the day after, the day after. So, if you want, I'm down to get one of these like macro guru guys on stream for next week. I don't think it's going to be particularly helpful. is my only push back is I don't think it's going to be that helpful and I think you're probably gonna leave feeling worse than we joined. The two that I'm interested in bringing are Capital Flows and Fjo. And so I'm down to bring them on if you want. Maybe Monday I'll do it. I don't think either of them have like the answers for us, but I think that they at least can talk about it, which would be interesting. Have a perspective. It's nice to I just want to hear takes. So, they are just gappers. 2:41:26 And I I think what we should do, like what we should how we should spend the rest of our time is we're just going to start crowd sourcing takes. I could maybe bring Capital Flows on tomorrow if you wanted. Um, I can maybe bring capital flows on tomorrow. But one thing I can tell you, my friends, is that we are traveling through canon event after canon event. It's the roaring 20s of all roaring 20s. These times, especially as trader, I've been I've been I've been a trader for like five years now. When we're 10, 15, 20 years into our trading careers, we're definitely going to look back and be like, man, that was some [ __ ] accelerated learning that we experienced in the 25s, the 26, and so on. And all I can say to you is as we travel through the unknown, 2:42:27 we're going to do it together, chat. We're going to do it together. What's your name? Pipe bomb 33. You a risk. We're going to do it. We're going to do it together. And we're going to be right if we have to force it. And it might mean a lot of time of sort of like uh I don't really know. But you get to eventually cash in your I don't really knows for I [ __ ] know. And I can feel it. I can feel it. My fingers on the pulse. I'm right. You get to cash in your I don't really knows for holy [ __ ] I do know. And the one thing I can promise you, it's five days a week, three hours a day, Monday through Friday. Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. EST. We're going to stream every day until I either make a 100 mil trading or I make a 100 mil from stream. One of the two things are going to happen. One way, ideally, both so I have 200 mil. But it's going to happen one way or another. And it's going to [ __ ] take a while. So you, me, the markets, canon events, 2:43:30 adventuring into the blissful, willful, exciting unknown. One team, one dream. Hold on for dear life because we're going to survive. And the only way you don't make it is if you stop trading. Hello, Cyrus. I love you. I appreciate you. I'll see you tomorrow. I think tomorrow's going to be a chill stream and we'll stack the macro guys for next week is probably what we're going to do is stack the macro guys for next week. If you really want it, I'm down. Let's do it. Let's do it. We'll [ __ ] do it. One team, one dream on three. One, two, three. One team, one dream. Um, one team on three. One dream on six. One, two, three, one dream. Four, five, six, one dream. I love you, [ __ ] Have a good one. S.
