0:00 My name is Clay and if you don't know 0:01 who I am, I white label High Level to 0:03 make over $26,000 every single month in 0:06 recurring revenue. And today's day one 0:07 of our totally free course showing you 0:09 how to set up and go highle reputation 0:11 agency totally from scratch. So on day 0:14 one, you'll start with no business, no 0:15 experience in High Lee. And on day 0:17 seven, our goal is for you to have your 0:18 first client set up and ready to roll. 0:20 Today, we'll cover the basics of High 0:21 Level. We'll work on defining terms to 0:23 make sure that we're all on the same 0:24 page when we're saying certain words. 0:26 And we'll go over some basic business 0:27 setup stuff. So, if you already have a 0:29 business, you'll probably be able to 0:30 skim through some of this stuff. Or if 0:32 you're familiar with High Level, you'll 0:33 probably be able to skip through this 0:34 and go to day two. But my favorite part 0:36 about day one is our goal calculator. 0:37 It's a spreadsheet I spent lots of time 0:39 putting together where you can put in 0:40 your revenue goal and when you want to 0:42 hit that goal, and then it's going to 0:43 spit out the exact amount of work that 0:45 you need to do every single day to meet 0:47 your goals. And just to show you the 0:48 stuff in this course really works, 0:50 here's people that have gone through the 0:51 same exact course, already getting 0:52 results. You can see Dan signed his 0:54 fifth client. Oliver started with one 0:56 client in February and now he's serving 0:58 50 plus people. Riley got his first 1:00 customer four days ago. Justin booked a 1:03 meeting. Balen closed a $10,000 setup 1:05 deal. Thomas got his first client,300 in 1:08 recurring revenue paid upfront. Ronnie 1:10 got his first customer. Marion got a 1:12 customer and then doubled their reviews. 1:14 Blake got his first customer. Matthew 1:16 got his first paying customer. And the 1:18 wins keep going on and on and on. People 1:20 are having results, especially people 1:21 that are actually sticking to it and 1:22 putting the work in. So, I hope you 1:24 enjoyed day one. Remember, if you want 1:26 to get access to the school community 1:27 where you'll get three weekly coaching 1:29 calls with me where I can help you 1:30 one-on-one and meet you where you are, a 1:32 coaching call with a Facebook ad expert, 1:34 all of my templates, my snapshots that I 1:36 use for my clients, and the snapshots 1:37 that I use for my website and all that 1:39 sort of stuff. Feel free to sign up with 1:40 my link down below in the description, 1:41 High Level, and you'll get an extended 1:43 30-day trial instead of the normal 1:45 14-day trial. And if you're already a 1:46 Highle user, you can just upgrade to the 1:48 next plan with my link, and you'll get 1:50 access to the community totally for 1:51 free. You can see I do give people the 1:53 option to pay $99 a month or $3.99 a 1:55 year to join the community. I would much 1:57 rather you just sign up my high level 1:58 link and not have to pay me a dime. 2:00 Without further ado, let's dive in. 2:04 All right, so the very first thing that 2:05 I want you to do is I want you to go 2:07 ahead and click on this link here to go 2:10 ahead and make a copy of this goal 2:12 calculator Google sheet. So, this sheet 2:16 is going to allow you to put in your 2:18 goal. um set how much you want to make, 2:21 what your MR goal is, and then how long 2:23 you want to take to achieve it. And so, 2:26 just to start off really simply, um now 2:28 you have this copy of it, it's going to 2:30 be in your Google Drive, and you can 2:31 edit it. And from here, we can just set 2:34 the goal at let's say $10,000 per month. 2:37 That's the goal. Very common goal. And 2:39 these rates that are already in here by 2:41 default are fairly conservative. So you 2:44 can see when I was just getting started, 2:46 I was getting booking rate a little bit 2:48 better than this. What this booking rate 2:49 means for the outreach, it means out of 2:52 every, you know, 100 messages, you get 2:54 two people to book, right? So that's a 2:56 2% booking rate. And so then show rate 2:58 is out of those amount of people that 3:00 book, how many of those are actually 3:02 going to show? And then out of those 3:03 people that actually show up, what's 3:05 your close rate? And so you can see here 3:07 with these numbers, a 2% booking rate, a 3:09 50% show rate, and a 30% close rate, we 3:13 need to do about 333 outreaches to get 3:16 one client. And so I was getting much 3:18 better numbers than this when I was 3:19 reaching out to my warm outreach uh to 3:21 get started and also my local area 3:24 because once again, we can say something 3:25 that no one else can say, which is, 3:27 "Hey, can I buy you coffee? Can I meet 3:29 you at a coffee shop?" Whatever, which 3:30 is immediately going to differentiate 3:32 ourselves and help provide more trust. 3:34 Um, and so I was getting much better 3:36 numbers than this, but I think this is 3:37 very conservative. I think you should 3:38 probably keep these um, like this. But 3:41 as you go through the document, as you, 3:43 you know, start tracking your numbers 3:45 down here, you can change these as you 3:47 get more data. Um, and then here, if you 3:50 want to go straight to the ads route, I 3:51 don't necessarily recommend that unless 3:53 you're good at ads or unless you have 3:54 more a lot more money than you do have 3:56 than you have time. And so when it comes 3:58 there, this was kind of my average 4:00 numbers. I was getting about $15 or $16 4:02 per lead when I was running ads locally 4:04 to get started. But once you start 4:06 running ads nationally, that price can 4:08 get a little bit more expensive per lead 4:10 or the price per lead will get a lot 4:11 cheaper and your quality of the leads 4:13 will get a lot lower. And so just on 4:15 average, when I was running um ads 4:18 locally and nationally, just kind of 4:19 combining them here, I was getting about 4:21 $20 per lead. Um my lead to book rate 4:23 was 35%. So that means if you know out 4:26 of every hundred you know leads I would 4:29 get I would book 35 calls and then show 4:31 rate since these are ads um normally 4:34 you're getting people to raise their 4:35 hand saying yes I am interested in uh 4:37 getting more reviews or whatever you're 4:39 selling versus over here where you're 4:41 cold outreach you know you're just kind 4:42 of saying hey let me do this and they 4:44 haven't really expressed interest 4:45 besides the fact that they responded. 4:47 So, you can use that they responded 4:49 something about your offer was appealing 4:51 to them. But you'll get a little bit 4:52 higher show rate here usually as long as 4:54 you're um sending reminders and not 4:56 booking too far out in advance. And then 4:58 close rate once again slightly higher 5:00 because these people said, "Hey, I'm 5:01 interested." Um and so you can see our 5:03 average here, your cost to acquire a 5:05 customer would be about $272. 5:07 Uh meaning that you would need to spend 5:09 in total $18,000 to um to hit that 5:13 $10,000 per month rent. And you can see 5:15 if you can adjust your average monthly 5:17 price here. Um, our pricing has always 5:19 been from uh anywhere from a hundred to 5:21 sometimes it was $400 a month. Um, but 5:24 our average right now is about $180 per 5:26 client um monthly. Um, but when you're 5:29 getting started, you could keep this 5:30 lower. I think 150 is a pretty safe bet. 5:32 If you're doing 100 or 150 or $200 a 5:35 month on average, uh, you can just 5:36 change that number there and that's 5:38 going to dynamically change all this. 5:39 So, let's say that you were like, "No, 5:40 I'm not working with anybody unless it's 5:42 unless they're paying me $299 a month." 5:45 Then you can see here, you have to spend 5:48 a lot le less money and do a lot less 5:49 outreach. Um, if all things are the 5:52 same, but if you do go up to $299 a 5:55 month, what's probably going to happen 5:56 is your close rate is going to drop 5:58 pretty drastically, unless you're really 6:00 good at sales, right? So, if you're 6:01 really good at sales, it might not. And 6:02 you can see now these numbers are back 6:04 kind of more consistent to where they 6:06 were before. But I think that keeping 6:08 these at um 30% and keeping this at 35% 6:12 and keeping your average monthly, 6:14 especially I recommend doing, you know, 6:15 free trials in the beginning, but after 6:17 you get them signed up and stuff, 6:18 keeping your average monthly at 150. I 6:20 think that's a safe bet. And so then 6:22 down here we have kind of your progress 6:24 tracker. Uh this is a sheet that you 6:26 want to save and you want to come back 6:28 to every day and you want to say how 6:29 many outreach attempts did I make today? 6:31 And so you can see if I put 60 here, you 6:33 see it it highlights red. And so the 6:35 reason it highlights red is because you 6:36 are below your outreach per day target. 6:38 So if I do 62 or 61, it's going to go 6:42 green because you hit your target. Same 6:44 thing with the ad spend. This is this 6:45 can technically be a blended progress 6:48 bar right here because let's say you 6:49 spend you do 61 outreaches a day and you 6:52 also do $50 in ads a day. Then now we've 6:55 made more total progress because we're 6:57 doing both at the same time. Um, even 6:59 though I really do just recommend do 7:01 doing taking one of these approaches at 7:03 once and just figuring out um, one of 7:05 the processes to make it work. It's 7:07 going to be you're going to be a little 7:08 bit spread thin in the beginning and so 7:10 it's hard enough to get one channel to 7:12 work. Uh, much uh, it's much easier to 7:14 get one channel to work than it is to 7:16 try and figure them both out and make 7:18 them both, you know, semi-profitable. 7:20 Um, and while you're getting started, if 7:21 you're just doing free trials, you don't 7:22 want to stress too much out about the 7:24 profit and all that stuff. You're just 7:25 trying to gain experience. you're 7:27 getting more your first 10 customers are 7:28 going to give you more feedback. Um, and 7:31 they're you're going to get more out of 7:33 it than they are probably just because 7:34 you're getting some reps under your 7:35 belt. 7:37 So, yeah, that's kind of how it works. 7:38 And you can see if you keep going 7:40 through and you do 100 a day or, you 7:42 know, 60 a day or whatever it is, 800 a 7:45 day, you can see this progress bar is 7:47 really going to go up. So, if you just 7:48 did 800 a day every day, you see you're 7:50 making great progress. Um, just as an 7:52 example, eventually you'll get to 100% 7:54 of progress. What we're doing here is 7:56 I'm just kind of visualizing, hey, you 7:58 cannot expect to reach this goal, until 8:01 you do the work required, right? Until 8:04 you spend the money on ads or until you 8:05 do the outreach, you should not expect 8:07 to get crazy results. And so this 8:09 honestly, this goal calculator is just 8:10 to help manage expectations and also 8:13 reward you throughout the process. When 8:15 you're not hitting your your revenue 8:16 goal yet, you're not hitting your 8:17 recurring income goal yet, it can be 8:20 hard to see that progress or to make 8:22 feel like you're on the right track. And 8:23 this is just to show you that, hey, this 8:25 is going to take time. Even if you're 8:26 going to do 800 a day, it's going to 8:28 take you um it's going to take you a 8:30 decent amount of time until you hit um 8:33 that outreach goal, you hit that 8:34 progress goal. And so what I really 8:36 really encourage you to do is just don't 8:38 think too much about it. Like you need 8:39 to just turn your brain off and just do 8:41 the work every day. Um and then once you 8:44 hit 100% here, if you haven't reached 8:46 this goal, then come back and say, "Hey, 8:47 are these numbers accurate?" You know, 8:49 am I am I not getting a high enough 8:50 close rate or show rate? And then solve 8:52 that problem. and just keep going. Um 8:54 the main reason of this once again is 8:56 just to establish um and for you to set 8:58 proper expectations that hey this takes 9:01 work. Um and so I hope this is valuable. 9:03 Save it somewhere and keep track of it 9:05 daily. This read contract here, this is 9:08 just um the next video here we're going 9:09 to go over making a contract with 9:11 yourself, understanding where you might 9:13 fail and how to actually stick to 9:15 something. So you just want to make sure 9:16 you're reminding yourself of that 9:18 contract every day uh to make sure 9:20 you're not falling into shiny object 9:22 syndrome. you're not getting distracted, 9:23 you're actually doing the work required 9:25 and you are, you know, saying you're 9:27 going to do something and you're 9:28 actually doing it because once you can 9:29 build that confidence in yourself, then 9:31 you will um have a lot more power in the 9:34 sense that the things that you say can 9:36 become a reality. 9:41 All right. So, the very first thing that 9:42 I want you to do is I want you to go 9:44 ahead and click on this link here to go 9:47 ahead and make a copy of this goal 9:49 calculator Google sheet. So, this sheet 9:54 is going to allow you to put in your 9:55 goal. Um, set how much you want to make, 9:58 what your MR goal is, and then how long 10:01 you want to take to achieve it. And so, 10:03 just to start off really simply, um, now 10:05 that you have this copy of it, it's 10:07 going to be in your Google Drive, and 10:08 you can edit it. And from here, we can 10:10 just set the goal at, let's say, $10,000 10:13 per month. That's the goal. Very common 10:16 goal. And these rates that are already 10:18 in here by default are fairly 10:19 conservative. So, you can see when I was 10:22 just getting started, I was getting 10:24 booking rate a little bit better than 10:25 this. What this booking rate means for 10:27 the outreach, it means out of every, you 10:30 know, 100 messages, you get two people 10:32 to book, right? So, that's a 2% booking 10:34 rate. And so then show rate is out of 10:36 those amount of people that book, how 10:38 many of those are actually going to 10:39 show? And then out of those people that 10:41 actually show up, what's your close 10:42 rate? And so you can see here with these 10:45 numbers, a 2% booking rate, 50% show 10:47 rate, and a 30% close rate, we need to 10:50 do about 333 outreaches to get one 10:53 client. And so I was getting much better 10:55 numbers in this when I was reaching out 10:56 to my warm outreach uh to get started 10:59 and also my local area because once 11:01 again we can say something that no one 11:03 else can say which is hey can I buy you 11:06 coffee? Can I meet you at a coffee shop? 11:07 Whatever which is immediately going to 11:08 differentiate ourselves and help provide 11:10 more trust. Um and so I was getting much 11:13 better numbers than this but I think 11:14 it's very conservative. I think you 11:16 should probably keep these um like this, 11:18 but as you go through the document, as 11:20 you you know, start tracking your 11:22 numbers down here, you can change these 11:24 as you get more data. Um and then here, 11:26 if you want to go straight to the ads 11:28 route, I don't necessarily recommend 11:29 that unless you're good at ads or unless 11:31 you have more a lot more money than you 11:33 do have than you have time. And so, when 11:35 it comes there, this was kind of my 11:37 average numbers. I was getting about $15 11:39 or $16 per lead when I was running ads 11:41 locally to get started. But once you 11:43 start running ads nationally, that price 11:45 can get a little bit more expensive per 11:46 lead or the price per lead will get a 11:48 lot cheaper and your quality of the 11:50 leads will get a lot lower. And so just 11:52 on average, when I was running um ads 11:55 locally and nationally, just kind of 11:56 combining them here, I was getting about 11:58 $20 per lead, um my lead to book rate 12:01 was 35%. So that means if you know out 12:03 of every hundred, you know, leads I 12:06 would get, I would book 35 calls. And 12:08 then show rate since these are ads. Um, 12:10 normally you're getting people to raise 12:12 their hand saying, "Yes, I am interested 12:14 in uh getting more reviews or whatever 12:16 you're selling versus over here where 12:18 your cold outreach, you know, you're 12:19 just kind of saying, "Hey, let me do 12:21 this." And they haven't really expressed 12:22 interest besides the fact that they've 12:24 responded. So, you can use that they 12:25 responded something about your offer was 12:27 appealing to them. But, you'll get a 12:29 little bit higher show rate here usually 12:31 as long as you're um sending reminders 12:33 and not booking too far out in advance. 12:35 And then close rate once again slightly 12:37 higher because these people said, "Hey, 12:38 I'm interested." Um, and so you can see 12:40 our average here, your cost to acquire a 12:42 customer would be about $272. 12:44 Uh, meaning that you would need to spend 12:46 in total $18,000 to um to hit that 12:50 $10,000 per month rent. And you can see 12:52 if you can adjust your average monthly 12:54 price here. Um, our pricing's always 12:56 been from uh anywhere from 100 to 12:59 sometimes it was $400 a month. Um, but 13:01 our average right now is about $180 per 13:03 client um, monthly. Um, but when you're 13:06 getting started, you could keep this 13:07 lower. I think 150 is a pretty safe bet. 13:09 If you're doing 100 or 150 or $200 a 13:12 month on average, uh, you can just 13:13 change that number there. And that's 13:15 going to dynamically change all this. 13:16 So, let's say that you were like, "No, 13:18 I'm not working with anybody unless it's 13:19 unless they're paying me $299 a month." 13:22 Then you can see here, you have to spend 13:25 a lot less less money and do a lot less 13:26 outreach. um if all all things are the 13:29 same. But if you do go up to 299 a 13:32 month, what's probably going to happen 13:33 is your close rate is going to drop 13:35 pretty drastically unless you're really 13:37 good at sales, right? So if you're 13:38 really good at sales, it might not. And 13:40 you can see now these numbers are back 13:41 kind of more consistent to where they 13:43 were before. But I think that keeping 13:45 these at um 30% and keeping this at 35% 13:50 and keeping your average monthly, 13:51 especially I recommend doing, you know, 13:53 free trials in the beginning, but after 13:54 you get them signed up and stuff, 13:56 keeping your average monthly at 150. I 13:57 think that's a safe bet. And so then 13:59 down here we have kind of your progress 14:02 tracker. Uh this is a sheet that you 14:04 want to save and you want to come back 14:05 to every day and you want to say, "How 14:06 many outreach attempts did I make 14:07 today?" And so you can see if I put 60 14:09 here, you see it, it highlights red. And 14:12 so the reason highlights red is because 14:13 you are below your outreach per day 14:15 target. So if I do 62 or 61, it's going 14:18 to go green because you hit your target. 14:21 Same thing with the ad spend. This is 14:22 this can technically be a blended 14:24 progress bar right here because let's 14:26 say you spend you do 61 outreaches a day 14:29 and you also do $50 in ads a day. Then 14:32 now we've made more total progress 14:34 because we're doing both at the same 14:35 time. Um, even though I really do just 14:37 recommend do doing taking one of these 14:39 approaches at once and just figuring out 14:42 um, one of the processes to make it 14:44 work. It's going to be you're going to 14:45 be a little bit spread thin in the 14:46 beginning and so it's hard enough to get 14:48 one channel to work. Uh, much uh, it's 14:51 much easier to get one channel to work 14:52 than it is to try and figure them both 14:54 out and make them both, you know, 14:56 semi-profitable. Um, and while you're 14:58 getting started, if you're just doing 14:59 free trials, you don't want to stress 15:00 too much out about the profit and all 15:02 that stuff. You're just trying to gain 15:03 experience. you're getting more your 15:05 first 10 customers are going to give you 15:06 more feedback. Um, and they're you're 15:09 going to get more out of it than they 15:10 are probably just because you're getting 15:12 some reps under your belt. 15:14 So, yeah, that's kind of how it works. 15:16 And you can see if you keep going 15:17 through and you do 100 a day or, you 15:19 know, 60 a day or whatever it is, 800 a 15:22 day, you can see this progress bar is 15:24 really going to go up. So, if you just 15:25 did 800 a day every day, you see you're 15:27 making great progress. Um, just as an 15:29 example, eventually you'll get to 100% 15:31 of progress. What we're doing here is 15:33 I'm just kind of visualizing, hey, you 15:35 cannot expect to reach this goal until 15:38 you do the work required, right? Until 15:41 you spend the money on ads or until you 15:42 do the outreach, you should not expect 15:44 to get crazy results. And so this 15:46 honestly, this goal calculator is just 15:48 to help manage expectations and also 15:50 reward you throughout the process. When 15:52 you're not hitting your your revenue 15:53 goal yet, you're not hitting your 15:55 recurring income goal yet, it can be 15:57 hard to see that progress or to make 15:59 feel like you're on the right track. And 16:01 this is just to show you that, hey, this 16:02 is going to take time. Even if you're 16:04 going to do 800 a day, it's going to 16:05 take you um it's going to take you a 16:07 decent amount of time until you hit um 16:10 that outreach goal, you hit that 16:11 progress goal. And so what I really 16:13 really encourage you to do is just don't 16:15 think too much about it. Like you need 16:17 to just turn your brain off and just do 16:18 the work every day. Um and then once you 16:21 hit 100% here, if you haven't reached 16:23 this goal, then come back and say, "Hey, 16:25 are these numbers accurate?" You know, 16:26 am I am I not getting a high enough 16:27 close rate or show rate? And then solve 16:29 that problem. and just keep going. Um, 16:32 the main reason of this once again is 16:33 just to establish um, and for you to set 16:36 proper expectations that hey, this takes 16:38 work. Um, and so I hope this is 16:40 valuable. Save it somewhere and keep 16:42 track of it daily. This read contract 16:44 here, this is just um, the next video 16:46 here, we're going to go over making a 16:47 contract with yourself, um, 16:49 understanding where you might fail and 16:51 how to actually stick to something. So, 16:53 you just want to make sure you're 16:54 reminding yourself of that contract 16:55 every day uh, to make sure you're not 16:58 falling into shiny object syndrome. 17:00 you're not getting distracted, you're 17:01 actually doing the work required and you 17:03 are, you know, saying you're going to do 17:05 something and you're actually doing it 17:06 because once you can build that 17:07 confidence in yourself, then you will um 17:10 have a lot more power in the sense that 17:12 the things that you say can become a 17:14 reality. 17:18 The second step here is just completing 17:20 your contract with yourself. And so, I 17:21 know especially if you already have a 17:23 business that you've had some success 17:24 with, this can seem dramatic and this 17:26 might not be required for you since you 17:27 might already have some momentum. But if 17:29 you're just getting started from ground 17:31 zero, this is going to be really 17:32 uncomfortable. And there's going to be 17:33 lots of times you want to quit. You want 17:34 to get shiny object syndrome and jump 17:36 ship. And so this is just made to help 17:39 you um become accountable and hopefully 17:42 come back to this every single day. Um 17:43 so you can remind yourself that, hey, 17:45 this is going to be hard. And basically, 17:47 if you can establish the fact that, hey, 17:49 when I say I'm going to do something, I 17:50 actually do that, that builds so much 17:52 trust and confidence in yourself. Um, 17:54 and it's really a hack to help growing 17:56 your business because you actually do 17:57 what you're say you're going to do. So, 17:59 just click here and make a copy of this 18:01 document and we'll kind of go through 18:02 it. What you want to do is you want to 18:04 fill in the blanks. So, your date, name, 18:06 etc. Um, you're going to choose your 18:08 goal from what you had over here. So, if 18:09 your goal is $10,000 per month, you want 18:11 to go ahead and put that in here as your 18:13 goal. And then mark down a couple 18:15 milestones. So, you know what? Um, what 18:17 are some things you can celebrate along 18:18 the way? It's going to be a long 18:20 journey. is probably going to take 18:21 longer than you than you'd hoped or than 18:22 you anticipated. And so find a couple 18:24 milestones that you want to celebrate. 18:26 Um, obviously don't go have a a 18:28 three-day bender and waste all the money 18:30 you have, but maybe go out to dinner or 18:32 buy a bike or I don't know, whatever you 18:34 want to do to reward yourself. Um, and 18:37 hopefully start to create that feedback 18:39 loop of, hey, when I work really hard, 18:41 even though I might not be seeing the 18:42 results in the meantime, I can see that 18:45 those results are that work is paying 18:47 off. And so the second thing here is 18:49 just timeline for success. Understand 18:51 that this is going to take time and that 18:52 even if it took you four years to 18:54 achieve this goal of $10,000 per month 18:56 or $20,000 per month, wouldn't it be 18:58 worth it? Right? People spend four years 19:00 in college, graduate with 150k in 19:02 student loans debt, and then struggle to 19:03 find a job, right? So if you could just 19:05 spend four years on this, there's if you 19:08 if you actually do the actions required 19:11 to make this work for four years, 19:12 there's no way you won't hit your goal. 19:15 And so just realizing that, hey, this 19:17 might take a long time, but it will be 19:18 so worth it. Number three here is just 19:21 how to not waste time. I love this quote 19:22 by Alex or Rosie that the work works on 19:25 you more than you work on it. And so 19:27 there's going to be times where you make 19:29 100 cold calls or 100 texts or 100 19:31 emails or you spend a bunch of money on 19:33 ads and you don't see any results from 19:35 that yet. And through that process of 19:38 working, through that process of doing 19:39 something uncomfortable, you are 19:41 becoming a more capable person, right? 19:42 even if you don't book any calls, you 19:44 are now a more capable, more callous 19:46 person uh that is able to do what they 19:47 say they're going to do. And so you are 19:49 becoming a better person throughout this 19:51 and you know really entrepreneurship is 19:53 one of the uh one of my favorite ways 19:55 and I think one of the greatest ways to 19:57 kind of pursue u personal development 19:59 and so just realize that no matter what 20:01 you're not wasting time here you are 20:02 becoming a more capable person you're 20:04 learning great skills of advertising of 20:06 marketing and stuff like that how to 20:09 waste time what to avoid here I made a 20:12 whole video about this on YouTube just 20:14 kind of about the highle trap where 20:16 people can sit down at their desk all 20:18 day for 12 hours when they're getting 20:19 started and feel like they're making 20:21 progress, but they're not actually 20:22 letting anybody know they exist. And so, 20:24 it would be unreasonable for you to have 20:26 a hundred clients if there's a thousand 20:28 business owners out there that um don't 20:31 know if there's not even a hundred 20:32 business owners out there that know you 20:34 exist, right? And so, if you want to 20:36 have a hundred recurring clients, you 20:37 probably need a thousand or 2,000 20:39 business owners out there that know who 20:41 you are, what you do, the value you 20:43 provide. And so all this stuff like 20:45 customizing your CSS and high level, 20:47 making a new dashboard, creating text 20:49 and email follow-ups, automating your 20:50 onboarding process, um automating 20:52 reporting, none of this stuff actually 20:54 matters until you have maybe at least 10 20:57 clients. And so if you're not focusing 20:59 on something that is setting up a client 21:01 or getting more clients, you are wasting 21:03 your time. So remember to avoid this. Um 21:05 number five here is just potential 21:07 failure points. So this is just a 21:09 strategy to say, hey, if you know 21:11 yourself, um, and I know in the 21:13 beginning, one of the main reasons I 21:14 failed all my previous business attempts 21:16 was just shiny object syndrome, right? 21:18 Spending too much time on YouTube or 21:19 Instagram trying to find the next 21:21 greatest thing. And you get I'm going to 21:23 make a whole video about shiny object 21:24 syndrome, but you get in this way where 21:26 now you're supposed to make outreaches 21:27 all day. Let's say you've set up 21:28 everything, you're supposed to make 21:29 outreach all day, and you feel bad, and 21:31 you go to YouTube and um, you're not 21:33 feeling very stoked about anymore 21:35 because you're in the hard part. you're 21:36 in that valley of despair. And so you go 21:38 to YouTube and you just look up business 21:40 ideas or you see what's on your 21:41 suggested and it gets you all excited 21:43 again, you know, and you feel you feel 21:45 good again finally. And so you get 21:47 reinforced for kind of, you know, going 21:49 outside the lines and not staying 21:51 focused on the main thing. And so add 21:53 the fact that hey, I'm probably I might 21:55 fail because I don't make my outreach 21:57 every day. I might fail because I get 21:59 distracted on YouTube and get shiny 22:01 object syndrome. I might fail because I, 22:03 you know, lack the ability to um 22:06 troubleshoot and learn new things and I 22:08 just want everything handed to me. So, 22:10 just know that your potential failure 22:12 points here and then come back and 22:13 review these every day and take 22:15 corrective action if needed. Number six, 22:18 acknowledgement of non-entitlement. Um, 22:21 so what I think here is I mean I'm under 22:22 the impression that we really don't 22:24 deserve anything. like all all that 22:26 happens is we do something and then you 22:28 know eventually maybe we get something 22:29 out of that whether it's good whether 22:30 it's what we wanted or not and so really 22:32 put those actions over the outcomes. Who 22:35 cares about the act outcomes? Just do 22:37 the actions. Just do the outreach. Just 22:39 do what is required to try and get where 22:41 you want to. Um and fully understand 22:43 that none of these are none of this 22:44 stuff is guaranteed. you know, your 22:46 outcome will solely depend on consistent 22:48 execution, your ability to learn and 22:51 adapt to these challenges and your 22:53 efforts to kind of put this stuff in 22:55 place to make this business um make this 22:57 business work. And so that's one of my 23:00 least favorite things is when I see 23:01 people in the community or see people in 23:02 the Facebook groups and high levels 23:04 saying, "Oh, this is ridiculous. I I 23:06 deserve this. I deserve that." No, you 23:07 don't deserve anything. You know, just 23:09 keep doing the actions and one day 23:11 you'll look up and say, "Oh, wow. This 23:13 actually kind of worked out." Number 23:14 seven here is personal accountability. 23:16 You know, people are pretty quick, I 23:18 know I was when I was first getting 23:19 started, pretty quick to point the 23:20 blame. Well, this person didn't show me 23:22 how to do this and this person's not 23:23 doing this for me and you know this that 23:25 or the other and they don't actually 23:26 show the whole thing. Guys, here I'm 23:28 literally showing everything. If 23:30 somebody can make a bigger reputation 23:32 management company just using high level 23:34 like oh I would love to learn from you 23:37 and so just understand that you alone 23:39 bear the responsibility for your own 23:41 progress. you know, I'm going to do at 23:42 my best to respond to your community 23:44 posts and help you on the coaching calls 23:46 and and create trainings that are as 23:48 step by step and as up-to-date as 23:49 possible. But at the end of the day, 23:52 when some when you encounter an 23:53 obstacle, let's say that you're watching 23:55 one of my training videos and the 23:56 dashboard has changed or looks a little 23:58 different for you or there's kind of an 23:59 edge case scenario you have a question 24:01 about, you have to use your second brain 24:03 cell. And that's what kind of go here. 24:05 You have to use your second brain cell 24:06 as Alex Ramosi says to try and tr 24:08 troubleshoot. learn how to use, you 24:10 know, Google, learn how to use YouTube, 24:12 try to figure out your problem because, 24:14 um, I'm gonna try and help you as much 24:16 as I can, but no one's gonna save you. 24:18 You have to do it yourself. Um, and that 24:21 was the other thing here, just use that 24:22 second brain cell. Um, one thing really 24:24 important, school has a great search 24:26 feature. And so, if you have a question 24:28 about, let's say, phone number 24:30 verification, 24:32 search it in the school bar and in the 24:34 school search bar and you'll see there 24:36 are hundreds of posts about phone 24:38 numbers. And you can see in the 24:39 classroom there's hundreds of trainings 24:41 where I mention phone numbers. And so go 24:43 through and try and figure it out. Um, 24:46 and try and use that second brain cell 24:48 to figure it out on your own. I think 24:50 that is probably one of the things when 24:52 I when I coach people or when I hop on 24:54 coaching calls with people and when they 24:56 have the ability to troubleshoot and 24:58 figure stuff out on themselves, I'm 24:59 like, "Okay, yeah, this person's got a 25:00 good chance to succeed." And so, you've 25:02 got to build that muscle because it's 25:03 not all just going to be handed to you. 25:05 And it's never just going to be step 25:06 one, step two, step step three, boom, 25:08 success, right? It's just there's always 25:10 going to be complexity variables there. 25:13 Um, number nine, write down your push 25:14 not uh motivation here. So, this push is 25:17 like if I achieve this goal, what 25:19 negative things will I be able to avoid 25:21 now that I've accomplished this goal? 25:22 So, what are you kind of running away 25:24 from, right? Or what are some things 25:25 I'll be able to stop doing that I don't 25:27 want to do? And so, some examples like 25:29 when I know for me when I was just 25:30 getting started, like when my friends 25:31 and I go out to eat, I don't have to 25:32 stress about ordering cheap, right? I 25:34 don't have to go to water. I mean, I 25:35 still get a water most of the time, but 25:36 I don't have to stress about getting a 25:38 water or getting the cheapest thing on 25:39 the menu, you know. Um, maybe it's for 25:41 you it's you'll finally be able to quit 25:42 your 9 to5. Um, and you're you're tired 25:44 of showing up and working and feeling 25:46 underappreciated. Maybe you won't have 25:48 to shop at Walmart now, you know. And I 25:50 I uh I hate going into Walmart and so we 25:53 get Walmart delivery, which is actually 25:54 a lot better, but maybe you can go shop 25:56 wherever you want to now. Um, my parents 25:58 won't think I'm a failure. Maybe that's 26:00 for you. This wasn't My parents are 26:01 pretty chill, so this wasn't one for me. 26:03 But um you know whatever it is, what are 26:05 things that you're you're pushing you 26:06 towards that goal? Um I've always had a 26:09 lot more push motivation in terms of 26:10 like um bad stuff like I don't want to 26:12 be cheap anymore. I don't want to have 26:13 to stress about money, whatever. Then 26:15 I've had pull. Um pull is basically like 26:18 what is that end state? What is pulling 26:20 you to that goal state? So if I achieve 26:21 this goals, if I achieve this goal, what 26:23 are some things that you can start that 26:24 you can do um that you can't do now? And 26:27 so maybe I'll be able to take Fridays 26:28 off work and go wherever I want to. I'll 26:29 be able to finally go on vacation or get 26:31 a new car. You know, I'm obviously not 26:33 one of those, if you've watched any of 26:34 my YouTube videos, you know that I'm not 26:36 one of those flashy uh, you know, 26:38 20-year-old marketing guru guys that 26:40 want to drive the Lambo and travel all 26:42 over the world. Like, not really. I just 26:43 want to have a decent house, maybe a 26:45 lakehouse one day and, you know, car 26:47 that can get me from point A to point B 26:48 without breaking down. That's that's all 26:50 I really want to. And that's why for me, 26:51 this push not motivation was so much 26:53 more important than the pool. But you 26:55 might be somebody that's like, you want 26:57 that lifestyle, you know, and so, you 26:59 know, write these things down and review 27:00 them. review this every day to remind 27:02 yourself why you're doing it. And then 27:04 the promise here is just saying, "Hey, 27:05 I'm going to hold myself accountable to 27:07 this. I'm going to stay vigilant and I'm 27:08 going to push past um you know, the hard 27:11 stuff that comes up." And so you can go 27:13 ahead and sign it. Um it's a little bit 27:15 information how to use it. And once 27:16 again, these are going to be based off 27:18 of kind of the goals that you created 27:19 yourself here. Um so create that, put it 27:22 in a place where you can uh save it and 27:24 review it every day. Um and you maybe 27:26 print it out, tape it on your wall, tape 27:28 it on your computer, whatever. And then 27:30 down here you can see every day just 27:32 check off the fact that you read your 27:33 contract. I think it should be a part of 27:34 your your daily actions just like your 27:36 outreach attempt. 27:41 All right. So we're going to go ahead 27:42 and decide on a business name. So the 27:44 biggest thing here is don't overthink 27:46 this. All right. So imperfect action is 27:48 going to be in action every day. I see 27:50 people get way too hung up on a business 27:52 name and a lot of times it's hard to 27:53 kind of get the ball rolling and getting 27:55 stuff set up if you don't have a 27:56 business name yet, right? And so a 27:59 couple things to think of is just like 28:01 review specific versus broad names. And 28:03 so if you are marketing reviews as a 28:06 foot in the door service for your agency 28:08 or you are marketing reviews as um kind 28:11 of your main thing, you just do reviews, 28:13 um then I think that a reviewer specific 28:14 name makes a lot of sense in your 28:16 marketing, right? uh when you're running 28:18 ads and your business name is Review 28:20 Blast or Review Pilot or Review Rocket 28:22 or whatever it is, um that helps 28:25 consumers know exactly what you do 28:27 versus if it's like, you know, media 28:29 company, you know, just something that's 28:31 very broad. Um however, if you are 28:33 already you do already have an agency or 28:35 you're looking to um become an agency 28:38 and just have the reviews as kind of one 28:40 branch or one leg of your service, it's 28:42 still totally fine to have a broad name. 28:44 There's plenty of people in the in the 28:46 uh community already that have names 28:48 that are not related to reviews 28:49 whatsoever and are still getting great 28:51 results. And so I just recommend you 28:54 know review harvest came from Chad GBT. 28:56 So like I think there's like a business 28:58 name Chat GBT thing. Um so go to CHBT 29:02 name ideas. Boom. GBTS. We'll do a 29:04 startup company name idea. We'll start 29:07 this chat here. or say, "Hey, 29:11 um, I own a Oh my word, I can't type. I 29:16 own a marketing 29:19 company 29:20 that helps local business 29:26 owners get more reviews. Can you give me 29:32 20 business 29:37 name 29:38 ideas that are 29:42 two words 29:45 or less related to reviews. 29:49 And then you say, "Feel free to use 29:53 rhyming 29:55 or alliteration." 29:59 Don't know if I spelled that right, but 30:00 it'll figure it out. Um, so here we go. 30:03 Here's 20 different business names. you 30:05 just keep keep letting them do this. 30:07 Keep keep asking for more until um you 30:11 figure it out. And so obviously after 30:12 you um get these names here, you want to 30:16 look up and make sure the domain's 30:17 available. Look up and make sure there's 30:18 not another business uh name in, you 30:21 know, another business with the same 30:23 exact name. Um and you also want to make 30:25 sure that you can get a com domain. So 30:27 it doesn't have to be you reviewwave.com 30:30 or ravewave.com or boostreviews.com. It 30:33 could be boost reviews. um with no s or 30:36 boost-reviews whatever just you want to 30:37 get a domain just because um that helps 30:40 with email deliverability. Um but one 30:43 thing you can also do here is you can if 30:46 you are focusing on a certain niche you 30:48 can say I help let's say plumbers 30:53 um 30:55 plumbers 30:57 get more reviews and you can say make it 31:01 plumbing specific. And so if you know 31:04 that you're going to be in a certain 31:06 niche or you already are in a certain 31:07 niche then that can really niche your 31:09 name down. You can get a really solid 31:11 name. um from there. But just keep doing 31:13 this till you find one. Once again, pipe 31:15 praise, that's a great one. Um plum 31:18 praise. Um you these are good if you 31:20 know your if you know your 31:24 niche that you're targeting, you can 31:25 really get very dialed in with this. Um 31:28 and so reviews, I mean, these are all 31:29 sync stars. That's that's pretty good. 31:32 Um and so you can get really specific 31:33 here. Um so once again, don't overthink 31:35 this. Uh don't spend too much time on 31:37 it. You got to get something going. it 31:39 makes sense to, you know, spend 30 31:41 minutes to an hour figuring out, you 31:43 know, a good name, but anything over 31:45 that, you're probably just wasting your 31:46 time. So, just make sure it's short. 31:49 That's the big thing. Just nobody wants 31:51 to see a super long business name. 31:57 All right. So, now that you have your 31:58 business name, you want to go ahead and 32:00 purchase a domain. And so, like I said 32:01 in the last video, you want to make sure 32:02 you get a com domain just for email 32:05 deliverability. That's going to help 32:06 out. And so once you decide on your 32:08 name, let's say you're going with pipe 32:10 praise uh for business for plumbers or 32:14 plum perks or something like that, we 32:15 just want to go ahead and go to Godaddy 32:18 um.com and go to your search domain 32:20 feature here. And let's just go and type 32:21 it in and see what we've got. All right, 32:23 so we see that's a premium domain. So we 32:25 don't want to use that. What about flush 32:28 feedback? Um 32:31 I mean you can if you're willing to fork 32:32 up 150 bucks or whatever, that's easy. 32:34 I'm see flush feedback. Boom. 32:37 Perfect. You can click on make it yours 32:38 today. Um, you can go ahead and view 32:41 your cart and it's going to 32:44 automatically go to three years. You can 32:45 just do one year. It should be about 12 32:47 bucks and you can just check out. So the 32:49 great thing about using GoDaddy or 32:50 Cloudflare is that they easily integrate 32:53 with Highle so that when you need to add 32:55 your DNS records um for your white label 32:57 domain or your API domain um or for your 33:00 sending uh domains for your email, you 33:03 literally just click a button and 33:04 authorize it and it all should be added 33:06 to your DNS. Um it should be super 33:08 simple. And so that's how you get your 33:10 domain. Pretty straightforward. 33:15 What is up? someone from Taylor Brands 33:17 reached out and kind of gave us an 33:19 offer. So, if you sign up with my link, 33:20 you'll get something a little special. 33:21 The great thing about Taylor Brands, if 33:23 you are interested in using it, is that 33:25 they are kind of like an all-in-one 33:26 place. And so, you can um you can do 33:29 your setup of your LLC. Uh you can do 33:32 your registered agent there, you can do 33:33 your logo maker there. They have like 33:35 graphic design services and like 33:37 branding and stuff like that. And so, 33:39 it's pretty good. And the pricing is 33:40 relatively competitive. So, I'm pretty 33:42 sure they have a a free plan where you 33:44 just pay for state taxes. 33:47 Um, so yeah, if we go back, let's see, 33:49 pricing. 33:51 Yeah, here we go. So, yeah, they have a 33:53 free plan, but you have to play for the 33:54 pay for the straight uh state fees, 33:56 which normally are anywhere from like a 33:58 $100 to like $200 or whatever. But, uh, 34:01 but yeah, so if if you want to do that, 34:03 great. If not, I have another video 34:04 about Samp LLC and some other services 34:06 I've used like Zen Business or stuff 34:08 like that. But I have used Taylor Brands 34:09 in the past for logo stuff and all that 34:12 good stuff. So, um, if you want to feel 34:14 free to sign up. 34:19 So, you don't necessarily need to set up 34:21 an LLC. Uh, but I would recommend doing 34:23 it even if you're just getting started. 34:25 Obviously, if you have an established 34:27 business, you can just skip this part, 34:28 but technically you could verify the 34:32 phone numbers under your client's 34:34 information. It's just going to kind of 34:36 slow you down a bit. So, um, when we're 34:38 verifying toll-free, these 800 or 855, 34:41 8, 877, 888, whatever numbers, when 34:44 you're verifying tollfree or local 34:46 numbers with A2P, now both, um, both of 34:49 them require an EIN or an LLC to uh, 34:52 register these phone numbers. And so, if 34:54 you don't get an LLC, you're going to 34:56 have to get these phone numbers under 34:58 um, under your business, your client's 35:02 information. So, it's going to take a 35:03 little bit longer. you have to wait to 35:04 get the client and then verify under 35:06 their information. You can just look up 35:07 their LLC info online and stuff like 35:09 that. But if you um or alternatively, 35:13 you could go for the my CRM SIM route or 35:16 go like the instate route, which I'll 35:18 have a video going over that here 35:19 shortly. Don't worry about it too much 35:20 now. But when we go over phone number 35:22 providers and kind of how you can work 35:24 around that, you could just get a SIM 35:26 card and hook it up to High Level and 35:29 you don't need the um EIN. So, but if 35:33 you do go ahead and get an LLC, it's 35:35 going to provide you a little bit of 35:36 liability protection from a legal 35:37 standpoint. Once again, not legal 35:39 advice, but but that would be nice to 35:43 have. Um, and once you get an LLC, uh, 35:46 you'll be able to you'll be able to 35:47 verify phone numbers under your 35:49 information. And so, you'll be able to 35:50 verify phone numbers in advance. uh 35:52 you'll be able to go to text grid or 35:54 high level or Twilio or wherever and 35:58 purchase phone numbers and verify them 35:59 under your own information and then 36:01 deploy them to your new clients at will. 36:04 We'll talk more about that in the phone 36:06 number video. So don't worry about too 36:08 much now. But if you are in the US, uh 36:10 when I registered my LLC, I use in 36:12 business. They're pretty affordable 36:13 compared to all other places. Um and I 36:16 had a super smooth experience with them. 36:18 They've been great to work with. 36:19 Support's been pretty good. Uh, and if 36:21 you're outside the US, I've never tried 36:23 them, but I have heard really good 36:24 things of Doula, which is basically like 36:26 if you go to their if you go to their 36:28 website, it basically says like, hey, 36:31 um, need a need a new US company, start 36:34 your US business anywhere from from 36:35 anywhere in the world. So, if you're 36:36 wanting to operate in the US, but you're 36:38 not in the US, um, just so you can 36:40 target US-based businesses or the for 36:43 the phone number pricing or what have 36:44 you, um, then if you're like in a 36:47 country where SMS and stuff is really 36:48 expensive, then you can use this. Um, 36:51 but we'll talk more all about this on 36:53 the, uh, the phone number video about, 36:56 you know, how this affects that. One 36:58 thing I did want to go into is just like 36:59 separating your LLC and your business 37:02 and your personal expenses. And so this 37:04 is something that um I'll talk about in 37:07 setting up the bank account video, but 37:09 basically like the LLC is not going to 37:11 do anything for you if you are just 37:13 putting all your personal expenses like 37:16 pizza or or whatever and then high level 37:19 and your computer and stuff all in the 37:21 same bank account. Like technically 37:23 that's called piercing the corporate 37:24 veil. and it doesn't really you don't 37:26 really get that same sort of protection 37:28 because since you've pierced this 37:29 corporate veil here in the middle um 37:32 separating your business and your 37:34 personal since you've done that then it 37:36 kind of undoes the what the LLC is 37:39 supposed to protect you from. And so if 37:41 you do get LLC just make sure you also 37:42 go ahead and watch the bank account 37:44 video and stuff just so you can get a 37:46 separate bank account um for your 37:48 business just to keep everything 37:50 separate so you actually you know get 37:51 your money's worth of protection and 37:53 stuff. And this is really only in this 37:55 only in the only in the um situation 37:58 that you know somebody comes after you 38:00 and stuff which I've never had that 38:01 happen. I know it's pretty rare but it's 38:03 still something you want to think about. 38:04 So um yeah, hope this helps. 38:10 All right, the next step is going ahead 38:11 and creating your logo. So this is 38:13 another thing you don't want to 38:14 overthink too much. I mean you could 38:16 spend weeks creating this and waste a 38:19 whole bunch of time. Remember that you 38:20 can change this down the road and it 38:22 doesn't have to be perfect. And so some 38:25 options that I would probably go with is 38:27 Canva. So if you don't have Canva yet, 38:28 you might as well go ahead and get it. 38:30 They have a free plan and then it's like 38:32 $10 a month, but you can just go to 38:33 Canva and look up like software logo or 38:36 something and they're going to give you 38:37 a bunch of inspiration on like what you 38:39 want to do. My main uh the main thing 38:43 that I think is that if you're going to 38:44 have text in a logo, just make sure it's 38:47 easy to read. Like I mean that's silly 38:49 like office chat high quality software. 38:51 You can't I don't personally I don't 38:53 like that but um you know do whatever 38:55 you want. I don't know anything about 38:56 designing but find one you like and then 38:58 once you find one you like you can edit 39:00 it to your liking. So you can just 39:01 customize this template. 39:04 Let's say this is cool. I'm going to 39:05 change this to 39:08 reviews 39:13 review lover whatever whatever the name 39:15 is. So, you can see here, I think I 39:16 think that's a little bit like you can't 39:18 really see that very well, but um you 39:21 can change this to like a gold color or 39:22 whatever. And you can just play around 39:25 with this and make it your own. Um and 39:26 then eventually you want to have the 39:28 option to download it as um download it 39:31 at a high size at at a big size so it 39:34 looks good everywhere. Um and then also 39:36 you want to be able to download with a 39:38 transparent background, which I think 39:39 you need like the $10 a month plan for 39:41 Canva or whatever to do that. If you're 39:43 still struggling um and you can't really 39:46 figure it out from Canva, there is a 39:47 more done for you option right here 39:49 called Lookupa. You basically just put 39:51 your name, company name in, you put what 39:53 type of business you are, and they're 39:54 going to give you like 50 examples, and 39:56 then you can kind of play around with 39:57 it, tell you what to tell you what to 39:58 change. It's pretty affordable. I don't 40:00 remember exactly what the last time it 40:02 was, but I remember it wasn't more than 40:04 like 20 or 30 bucks or something. Um, 40:08 but yeah, so they'll try and upsell you 40:10 like other stuff, whatever, but you 40:11 probably just need a logo unless you 40:12 want to go ahead and get business cards 40:14 and social media templates and stuff 40:16 like that. They're going to kind of 40:17 create all your, you know, brand 40:19 branding and stuff like that in here. 40:21 Um, so this is pretty good tool if you 40:23 like if you're not uh good at designing 40:26 or never don't have any experience in 40:28 Canva or anything like that. And then 40:30 lastly, you could use like Fiverr. You 40:32 go to Fiverr and you could um just type 40:34 in like logo design, 40:40 logo design, 40:43 and then you could find somebody seller 40:45 details. Let's do a top rated seller or 40:47 at least level two. You can put your 40:49 budget in. We're going to pay 30 to 60 40:52 bucks. 40:54 And then you can, you know, find 40:56 somebody that can give you a solid logo, 40:58 has decent reviews um on Fiverr. So, you 41:01 don't have to do really anything. Uh 41:03 just they'll generate some stuff for you 41:05 and then you'll say you like it or you 41:06 don't and try and change it. And so 41:08 that's how you can do that. I also 41:10 linked to a YouTube video on how to 41:11 create a logo in Canva um from somebody. 41:15 So, well, it looks like the video is no 41:17 longer available. So, that's crazy. I'll 41:19 link another video, but um yeah, just a 41:21 little in t tutorial on how to edit 41:24 stuff in Canva. So, hope this helps. 41:26 Don't spend too much time on it. 41:27 Remember, imperfect action is going to 41:29 be in action every day of the week. 41:35 All right. So, what I recommend doing 41:37 now that you have your logo, you have 41:39 your LLC, you've got the domain, your 41:41 business name, is I recommend setting up 41:43 a free business bank account. And so 41:45 free business bank account and a free 41:46 business credit card is just going to 41:48 help keep your finances uh your personal 41:50 finances and your business finances 41:52 completely separate. Uh the main reason 41:54 being I talked about it a little bit in 41:55 the LLC video is that that LLC is going 41:58 to allow you to um kind of limit your 42:00 liability there where for some reason 42:01 you do get sued or something happens, 42:03 they can't come after your personal 42:04 assets. But technically the attorney 42:06 that's suing you, if that is happening, 42:08 if they look and see that you have been 42:10 intermingling your business expenses 42:12 with your personal expenses, that is 42:14 what they call piercing the corporate 42:15 veil, which technically means they could 42:17 come after your personal assets. And so 42:19 when I got started, what I did, and I 42:21 still use this now, is Novo. So Novo is 42:23 a free business bank account. Literally 42:25 totally free. Um I've never been charged 42:27 anything from them. And if you sign up 42:29 and just deposit a hundred bucks, you 42:30 get uh $40 uh for doing nothing if you 42:33 just use my link. So, feel free to use 42:35 my link here to sign up with Novo. It's 42:37 super simple. I mean, it does everything 42:39 you need to do. They give you a debit 42:40 card. Um, it's so easy. You know, a baby 42:42 could use it. Um, so I love that about 42:44 Novo. It also integrates with Stripe 42:47 Boost. So, if you're using Stripe for 42:49 payment processing and let's say you 42:50 collect $1,000, instead of waiting seven 42:52 days, they will go eventually they will 42:54 go ahead and push that thousand to your 42:56 account, you know, two days, three days 42:58 later instead of seven days or 10 days 43:00 later, which will help with cash flow. 43:02 Um, and then I I don't recommend getting 43:04 a paid uh credit card, like a credit 43:06 card with an annual fee. If you're just 43:08 getting started, if you are not getting 43:09 started and you um already have an 43:11 established business, then I use the 43:13 business uh gold card from AMX. It just 43:16 gives you crazy points and crazy perks. 43:18 It's just a no-brainer. Um, I also 43:20 started using the Chase Preferred card 43:22 um because some places still don't take 43:24 AMX and they both have like crazy points 43:26 and offers here um where if you're 43:28 spending four, five, six, 10K a month on 43:30 ads or you know any expenses um you can 43:33 get some crazy points. It's going to 43:34 help with travel and stuff like that. Um 43:36 but getting started, I just recommend 43:38 using the Blue Business uh cash MX card. 43:41 That's the one that I use. Um basically 43:43 you get 2% off everything you purchase 43:45 because they have 2% cash back. I think 43:47 it's on the first full year or the first 43:48 $50,000 worth of expenses. And so 43:51 anything you purchase, you're going to 43:52 get 2% of that cash back. So it's, you 43:54 know, essentially like getting 2% off. 43:56 And once you um spend $5,000 on your 43:59 first six months, you'll just get $250 44:02 added as a credit to your credit card. 44:03 So that's, you know, $250 for free. Um 44:06 so I definitely recommend getting 44:07 started on that. I love the blue MX MX 44:09 card. I used it for about a year. Um now 44:11 I use the gold card for most of the 44:13 stuff, but I don't recommend that if 44:14 you're just getting started. Um, yeah, 44:16 if you have any questions about this, 44:17 feel free to post it in the community. 44:18 This is some fun stuff. I've even 44:20 thought about making a separate training 44:21 about how to kind of maximize your 44:23 credit card points and make sure you're 44:25 doing stuff efficiently there, but it 44:27 definitely is a rabbit hole. Uh, so it's 44:29 definitely not worth your time here in 44:31 the beginning. Um, but yeah, I recommend 44:32 getting your bank account, free bank 44:34 account set up. I use Novo and free 44:36 credit card. That's just going to help 44:37 with kind of some monthly cash flow in 44:39 the beginning if you're not making much 44:40 money. You have a little bit of like a 44:42 30-day window. Um, obviously you don't 44:45 want to rack up some credit card debt, 44:47 so just be responsible there. Um, but 44:49 that's just what I did when I was 44:50 getting started. So, hope it helps. 44:56 If you've made it this far in the 44:57 training and you haven't signed up with 44:59 High Level yet, I don't know how uh you 45:01 did that, maybe you paid directly and 45:02 you don't have a High Le account or 45:03 whatever, feel free to sign up using my 45:06 link. So, when you click on this link, 45:07 it's going to take you to this page. Uh 45:08 if you're on uh the 297 or the 97, you 45:11 can upgrade to the next level with my 45:13 link and then you'll get free access to 45:15 this community. So if you are by chance 45:17 a paid member of this community here, 45:18 just go ahead, click on that link. Um 45:20 choose whichever plan makes sense to you 45:22 with whether you want to do the extended 45:24 trial, the 497 plan, or you want to 45:26 upgrade. um just choose that and then 45:27 you'll get an email invite from us um to 45:30 join this community for free and just 45:31 reach out to supportre.com if you did 45:34 pay and we will get you um off the 45:36 payment plan and get you on there for 45:38 free. So if you haven't done that 45:40 already, what are you doing? Sign up. 45:45 Something that is incredibly crucial is 45:47 that when we are talking in the 45:49 community, we're engaging, we're asking 45:51 questions and stuff like that or on 45:52 coaching calls, wherever, it's really 45:54 important that we understand the 45:56 definitions of the words we're using. 45:58 The best example of this is how sub 46:00 account and snapshot just gets changed 46:02 out constantly. And so I want everyone 46:04 to go through these vid, go through 46:06 these uh vocabulary, go through the list 46:08 of words. You don't have to memorize all 46:10 this stuff, but just remember that 46:11 they're here. And so if you're 46:13 struggling to understand what a certain 46:14 word is or you see a lot of people using 46:16 it, just search it in the community and 46:18 it's going to come back up. And so that 46:20 way you we can all be on the same page 46:22 of like the words that we're using, 46:24 making sure they they mean the same 46:25 thing. Because if we think the same word 46:28 means something different, then we'll 46:29 never be able to be on the same page. 46:31 And so um go through um kind of read 46:33 through this. Even if you're a highle 46:35 pro, you'll probably learn something. I 46:37 mean, when I was making these and I was 46:38 like defining I was like, "Oh, that's 46:40 actually kind of not how I would have 46:41 defined it." But when I look into it, 46:42 it's like, "Yeah, that's that's 46:43 correct." And so, um, read through these 46:46 here and remember that they're here. So, 46:51 yo, Extendley hooked us up. And so, 46:54 there are so many different levels and 46:56 layers and features in High Level where 46:58 I can't make a video diving into every 47:00 single one. This day one through seven 47:02 course is going over every single 47:04 feature that you need to know about, but 47:06 there might be some, you know, kind of 47:07 foundations. There might be some very 47:09 basic things that um you still need to 47:11 kind of get freshened up on or you need 47:13 to learn for the first time ever. So, 47:15 Extendley has a 101 course they normally 47:17 charge $100 for. And so, you can see you 47:20 normally it's normally $97, but if you 47:22 use the code clay Lawrence, they created 47:23 this land landing page for me where um 47:26 all my affiliates can go through their 47:28 101 course. It's like very basics 47:30 learning the foundations of high level 47:32 to make sure that everything's set up in 47:34 your high level account properly from 47:35 day one.
