All right, so here we are, in front of the elephants

00:00:05.318 --> 00:00:07.974

(baaaaaaaaaaahhh!!)

00:00:16.881 --> 00:00:18.881
and that's pretty much all there is to say

VTT to TXT converter: questions

Does it work with Zoom and Teams transcripts?

Yes. Zoom and Microsoft Teams export transcripts as .vtt files. Speaker tags are removed and the text is kept.

Are repeated caption lines removed?

Consecutive duplicate lines, common in auto-generated captions, are kept only once.

Is my file uploaded anywhere?

No. The conversion runs in your browser, so the file never leaves your device. Files up to 5 MB work.

Can I get subtitles straight from a YouTube video?

Yes. Paste the video link into our YouTube to SRT or YouTube to VTT tool and download the captions without needing a file first.
